Saveur in East Devon

An absolutely first class experience. Lovely relaxed atmosphere but the food is the real reason to come here. Perfectly executed French standards using the best ingredients. Would rush back.

Wow Wow Wow 🤩Our first visit to Exmouth and managed to booked a table at Saveur for dinner. All I can say is thank goodness we did.What a gem. Small intimate restaurant with the most amazing atmosphere and even more amazing food.We read the reviews and were desperate to get a table, so we popped in on the off chance that they could fit us in as it was mid week and lucky for us they could. I suspect that had it been the weekend, No Chance!!We are foodies and eat out a lot, but we can honestly say we have not being to such an amazing restaurant for a while. It’s intimate, beautiful decor (I suspect that’s Kerry’s doing!) and the food is amazing. Locally sourced product cooked to absolute perfection, thank you Nigel.We had the slow cooked Moroccan Lamb and the Severn and Wye smoked salmon to start and they were amazing, the flavours were out of this world. Followed by the Powderham Rib Eye with Camembert Mash - the rib eye melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection, the mash was wow 🤩 and the Crispy Panko Scampi, which is a starter but I couldn’t resist it and I’m so glad I didn’t as it was beyond yummy 😋. Kerry helped us pair our meal with a great wine.We decided to have a cheese board with port and Kerry talked us through the cheeses and helped us choose a perfect combination, all locally sourced and finished a fantastic meal off perfectly.A perfect night thank you Nigel and Kerry and your team 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 we will be back 😃

We came for dinner to celebrate a special birthday.The food was outstanding, everyone enjoyed what they had. The Parsnip main is very special. Service was fantastic, knowledgeable staff with good wine recommendations.Pictured: the limoncello semifredo, a marvel.

Saveur is a stunning surprise tucked away in Exmouth. The menu is well thought out and the creations are incredible. Lovely people who are passionate about their restaurant. We will be back!

Extremly good food would highly recpmmend it i dokt normally eat lentils but the way they prepared them and the flavours packed in to them.were devine i could of ate them by the bucket load

First meal in Exmouth and it was superb wish I could give it a 5 plus rating. Would highly recommend due to the exemplary cooking and friendly professional staff, would also recommend the Irish coffee - best ever. .

Thank you Saveur! We booked the upstairs room for a small post wedding reception. The room looked lovely even before we decorated, staff were very friendly and helpful, and food was amazing. Everyone said how good it was and with a fixed price menu it was very reasonable for the quality.

Really lovely restaurant. Really friendly staff, and great food. Had a short wait so my meal could be cooked to order. Highly recommend.

I passed this restaurant many times but when I looked at the menu it sounded too posh for me. Yesterday I finally decided to give it a try so I discovered another gem. The menu looked and sounded fancy but I got over it. The food was perfectly cooked and presented and, after starter, main and dessert I felt right (not hungry, not stuffed). No, is not cheap because is not McDonald's (not even that is cheap anymore) but it was totally worth it.
