No WiFi they are afraid you may stay all day with a coffee! Worse still I ordered a toasted tea caje but was given a hit Criss bun when I complained I was ignored 3 times Clearly they don't care

Tranquil escapism at its tasty finest. Simple, unpretentious and superb quality at a great price.....

Totally fabulous secret gem in Sidmouth. Food top class. Very humble but highly accomplished chef/owner-manager. Highly recommended!

Great little cafe tucked away in a little side alley. Lovely panini and flat white. Seek it out you won't be disappointed.

Great find and recommend you visit this place for a nice lunch. Hidden away off the high street in a lovely courtyard. Nice food although the crab sandwich could of been much better had there been more crab in it, you guys were a bit stingy hence 4 stars not 5....alot of bread and very little filling. That said the fruit scone with cream and jam was one of the best I've ever had set in a decent location.

A great little place, tucked away from the main road like a precious jewel in a heap of coal. This busy but peaceful courtyard boasts a gallery, a salon and a couple of shops, but the real gem is the cafe. The food is wonderful, there's a wide range of drinks, the prices are more than reasonable and the staff are fatstic. The best thing though is the atmosphere. If you find yourself nearby, then you should go and pay them a visit. You won't regret it.

What a fantastic place to drop the proverbial anchor and chill. Selly's is part of a group of select shops in a secluded courtyard and is a 24 carat gem. The 'homemade' food is specially prepared to order and is of the highest quality. I've been here several times and the quality never differs. It is top quality, as are the staff and, especially, the chef who has a real talent. In case of rain, there is a fully extendable canopy to protect patrons. As an aside there ate a variety of small birds, including a cheeky robin who will prance around 'doing his stuff' in the hope of eliciting a crumb or two for his trouble. This place is brilliant but, beware, the courtyard is small so you may not be lucky and find an unoccupied table at the first time of asking. But keep going back until you do; you will not be disappointed!

This is a lovely hidden little gem. Scones were absolutely delicious, homemade and warm with fresh cream and jam. The gentlemen who runs this was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend popping in!

We have had coffee at nearly all the coffee places in Sidmouth but Selley's seem to taste nicer. The cups are all biodegradable which is great as it's zero landfill. Their chocolate brownies are amazing. Served in cardboard containers with clotted cream that's supplied with the brownies make sitting on the sea front no matter the weather more rewarding.Nice to support a local independent business.

Beautiful homemade cakes at very reasonable price!! I had a huge slice of gooey brownie which was warm and came with clotted cream on the side. Sister had big slice of carrot cake full of flavour with cream cheese icing and mum had a raspberry and almond french torte with clotted cream. Sat in the peaceful courtyard catching the last of the sun. The owner and chef was so friendly too. We will be back!
