Swan Inn in East Devon

Visit mostly on a Sunday for The Swans lovely roast dinner and it never disappoints. Food is delicious, service to great and reasonably priced. Set in a nice location in the middle of the village with walks near by. The staff will always try and book you in if they can, it never seems a hassle to them.Only downfall is finding somewhere to park. There is a car park in the village you can use but you do need to pay.

Great food and very friendly staff

Lovely food very busy. Had to leave as our table had been rebooked. It would have been nice to have stayed longer as we were celebrating a birthday.

The soup is so good. The customer service awesome. I really like the local vibe.

Just dropped in for late Saturday afternoon drinks, was made very welcome. Not full but with enough customers to give a good atmosphere. Pint of Tribute and a mulled cider for my lady wife. Great place to end a damp Saturday.

Lovely atmosphere, the staff were very attentive and friendly. Quality of food was very good, I had brie followed by Dover Sole then Christmas pudding.. Unfortunately I found the seating very uncomfortable which was a shame, but other than that well done The Swan 👍

A lovely local. Comfortable, friendly, wish it were our local! Wonderful fresh sandwiches ++ for lunch. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for a while now and rarely have a less than excellent meal Very good and varied menu. Between the 3 of us we had the Burger, liver and bacon and the T Bone Pork chop. All tasty and generous and good value. The staff are welcoming and very courteous. All in all another great experience. Thank you

Beautiful food, very well priced in lovely surroundings

Brilliant pub lunch. Great friendly service. Chicken and bacon sandwich was crammed with meat, large portion of salad, coleslaw and crisps or chips. High quality, tasty and filled a full size dinner plate all for £8. Caesar salad even bigger with lots of excellent succulent chicken and the added tang of anchovies as well as slightly soft homemade garlic croutons. Selected a salad for something light on a warm day and only just managed to finish it. Excellent value, highly recommended
