Lovely pub just at the bottom of the hill down from the campsite we were staying at. We didn't eat but both beer and atmosphere were great even early evening went. Recommended.

The staff and the food are excellent at the Talbot Arms. The portions are generous and fairly priced considering the high quality. Surroundings are nice if a little querky, parking is easy. Overall well worth a visit, I shall go again.

Great, home cooked food and piping hot. Fish pie was gorgeous. Friendly owners. We would book again when in the area so highly recommend it. Lots of space outside to maintain social distancing and a beautiful setting by a stream.

Had a Sunday dinner which wasn't mass produced like you get in some pub chains, it was fresh, absolutely delicious and a good quantity, we left with very full stomachs. We both also had deserts which were equally as good. All the staff were very pleasant, checked several times that we had everything we needed, even the chef came out to check everything was OK.If you like proper home cooked fresh food, this is the place to go, highly recommend, I only wish we were local and didn't live over 3 hours drive away for another meal.Fyi, You may need to book in advance, we got the last 2pm slot and booked around 3 days prior.Well done and thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic pub. Lovely food and the hosts and staff were so hospitable. We spent a great evening with the team and were really impressed. Food was homemade and delicious. It is clear that this is a popular pub and staff should be congratulated for their fantastic efforts in relation to the pandemic and making everyone feel safe and welcome. We can't recommend enough. Thank you Talbot Arms. We will be back and plan to use your lovely accommodation with family next time too x

Visited for Sunday Lunch today, we were welcomed very warmly, shown to our table and were looked after very well throughout. The lunch was lovely with very generous portions. We had a choice of any combination of gammon, turkey and beef, I had all 3 and they were all delicious but the beef was particularly scrummy. We booked in advance and I would advise others to do the same because the place is clearly very popular and with good reason! Thanks 😊

Really nice friendly village pub. The Wednesday night Carvery was first class, perfectly cooked meat with an excellent selection of fresh vegetables, honestly the best I’ve ever had and at £11.50, very reasonable priced.
