The Anchor Inn in East Devon

We had to wait a bit because we didn't have reservation and the place was very crowded. The staff was friendly and very professional, hard workers, nonstop during the whole time!Fresh food and good portions. We had a great lunch. Veggie options available! Definitely recommend!

Just had roast dinner here with the family. Just the right amount of food. Perfect service. Quick and very polite. Our server was very friendly and polite. We'll worth a visit. Oh and very good value for money.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with very good service

It is a very lovely pub where you are able to drink an Ale and eat something.

Friendly staff, good service. Food home cooked. I had curry of the day, lamb balti and wife had spinach and mushroom lasagne thoroughlyenjoyed. Beer ok but disappointed no Devon brewery stocked.

Very friendly helpful greeting on arrival. Extensive and reasonably priced menu with variable portion sizes. Fast service and great food. Would certainly go back again.

Was having a night on my own for the first time in about 15years and was made to feel so welcome here. Was extremely nervous but the atmosphere her was lovely and friendly and they looked after me well. Thanks everyone. I'll be back and I might even leave my husband at home again 🤣 mind you he likes a good pub.

One of the most extensive menus I've seen for a long time and a good range of drinks

Excellent fish and chips and quick and friendly service. Decor could do with updating, but otherwise a great venue.

Great service and really amazing food. The plates came piping hot and our group of four were very satisfied. We've had soup of the day (French onion soup) which was delicious! Both veggie and beef lasanias were great as well as burgers. Food was fresh. We've sat outside on a garden, it has plenty of space there.
