The Bath House in East Devon

Spacious room, excellent bed and a perfect shower. Breakfast very good. Relaxed, friendly and professionally run.

Food was great, tasted amazing and presentation was beautiful. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Menu catered for my intolerances and I had choices! Would highly recommend.

What can I say... Fantastic food, friendly and efficient service. Couldn't recommend this more if I tried. An absolute must if you're in Chard.

A lovely restaurant in Chard. The welcome was friendly and professional and the food was fabulous. We had a couple of Thai dishes and followed that with a salted caramel brownie and some apple cake. Both were so good. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I can’t recommend this place enough, I have the pleasure of a 2 night stay in a really great room with fantastic food in the restaurant. Tonight’s meal was the chicken dish followed by the best brownie I have ever had. ***** Stars

We stayed in one of the family rooms for 3 nights and I cannot fault anything about it. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The whole place is soo clean. We never had any problems parking. We did try the restaurant too and the food is amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone. It's only a short drive into Lyme Regis for the beach so is ideal for families. Would30frotrytherestaurant too and the food is amazing. I

One of the loveliest hotel experiences we’ve had. The staff are welcoming and excellent at what they do. Both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable and clearly of a high quality. I would sincerely recommend anyone staying in Chard to stay here.

Great place to visit if in Chard, we only ate here, and went for the Thai dishes on the menu. Food was tasty - we had a platter of starters, beef massaman and a Thai grilled chicken dish. All were tasty, but especially the starters and chicken. Presentation was spot on!

We recently stayed at the Bath House while we were moving house and into the area, and waiting for our furniture to catch up with us. The rooms at the Bath House were lovely the decor stunning and beds were very comfortable. The stay at the hotel was fully Covid compliant. We have since availed ourselves of the Friday and Saturday takeaway menu on quite a few occasions. The food is delicious and plentiful. We are looking forward to joining the Bath House in there restaurant when they open in May. Many thanks to Ron, Karine and Shin and the rest of the team who made us feel very welcomed and our stay in the hotel very plesent.
