The Cornish Bakery in East Devon

Traditional pasty followed by a gorgeous cinnamon bun. What a lunch time treat. Sat in the window watching the world go by out of the heat. Dog friendly and great service by Carly and Izzy.

Cornish Bakery did a custom order for me, a whole cornish pudding (DELICIOUS) for a special event. Super helpful, generous price and even lent me a tupperware. Great customer service and pastries equally tasty.

Whichever county we're in, Dorset, Devon or Cornwall, we love the service and the quality at The Cornish Bakery ❤️ Love Lyme Regis especially where we "reveal" our best finds of the day.

Popped into The Cornish Bakery in Sidmouth this morning for a quick snack and my the pasties we had (ham,cheese and leak)were some of the best we have ever had and we try out alot of pasties. Slightly more expensive than in Lyme Regis but more flavour. Spoke to the gentleman behind the counter to say how much we enjoyed them and he explained where they were made and that they were having more verities coming in soon. Greatstaff and a much enjoyed snack.

Called in for lunch. Was only offered a fork and had to ask for a knife. The coffee was very bitter and so I had to add TWO sweeteners rather than my usual 1/2.The tables were very close together and as we were seated my exit route became blocked by the number of prams and people adding extra seats to there tables!!It was absolutely packed out. Nobody came around to clean the tables either in between customers.On the other hand the traditional pasty was delicious!

Morning coffee and cake hot into the Cornish bakery service was great as usual. Everybody always seems so kind and happy. They always have time to say hello I make you feel welcomed.My oat latte was lovely highly recommend

Stopped by pre-lockdown for a little treat, really enjoyed this caramel shortbread hot chocolate. The girls where very friendly too. Will be back again soon when your allowed to Eat in.

Lovely café, with sweet and savory treats of very good quality, perfect for a Sunday afternoon visit. We also got a really warm welcome from the staff - I highly recommend this place if you happen to pass nearby. We took a selection of pasties for takeaway on a hike afterwards and they were all delicious.
