The Filling Station in East Devon

I have purchased food from here many times which has always been lovely. Myself and my partner went today to order a sandwich and as there was a lady that had gone in with her dog to order food, we waited outside. We then watched as the shorted haired blonde lady coughed in her hand then went and fed the dog with a biscuit. She then took the ladies order and then started preparing food. No wearing gloves, no sanitising or washing her hands. Not for me thank you and went elsewhere.

Lush vegan special + finally a vegan pasty that's not a curried cauliflower! Very quick service, fantastic people. Portion is massive as well, really worth it!

Absolutely lovely place, friendly staff, quick service. Food quality was amazing, so much filling and tasted so good!

Excellent sandwiches. Definitely worth visiting.

I always find something good to eat at a reasonable price served by friendly staff, whether it is a salad to eat in or take away, or a healthy sandwich or even a pasty - it is my favourite cafe!😋

Visited Tuesday 4th August and food was good quality reasonably priced good service and nice to have gluten free pasty options.

Simply delightful small business doing simple pastie-type meals (and a few other things) delightfully well. Lovely traditional pasties and good-sized mugs of tea. Thanks ladies!

Lovely food (you couldn't get more filling in the baggettes we had!) and friendly service. We have already recommended them to others.

Nice place, lovely food, enjoyed my pastie. Paninie with BBQ pulled pork was very tasty to. Very reasonable prices as well.

Lovely place to eat/drink. Pasties, pies sandwiches, gluten free, Egyptian streetfood.... Eat in/take out. Delicious!! Excellent service - very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommended 😊
