Popped in for a quick lunch. Ordered tea and the goat cheese salad. Tea was loose leaf, amazing flavours! Got a lotus biscuit with it too which was perfect. The goat cheese salad was the best salad I’ve ever had in a pub! It was full of flavour, not cheap lettuce, amazing all around. Also tried the Smokey ruby Mayo with chips - super tasty! Great staff, clean, dog friendly, water bowl ready for the puppies.

Love the staff here- so friendly and helpful, great range of drinks with the brewery at the back and the amazing Ruby Burger menu never disappoints

Were do we start. There was 5 of us in the party and 2 dogs. The pub was busy and the staff said we can have a table in the corner with a chair on the end with a table for 2 next to us. The couple next to us left after about 5 minutes of us being seated. The staff instead of putting anyone else at the table said they would move the tables together to give the dogs more room. Keeping in mind they could have easily filled the table. Now the food we all loved the pulp fiction food theme and when the food came out it did not disappoint. Quality ingredients and plentiful. But I have to say the cream on the pudding so to speak is the ales they are tremendous.Thank you for your hospitality and probably the best beers in Devon.

Fantastic pub that we keep going back to. Ruby burger now resides within the pub (previously in exeter) and serves great food. Beers always ice and to top it off they've started selling local mead! The live music on Saturday nights is also awesome (shout out to Not The Cowboys on the Cowboy themed night near Halloween 2021).

Fantastic find, food is top notch. But be careful how much you order. The portions are 🇺🇸 sized too😜. The staff are über helpful/friendly too. I never give 5 but can’t fault this place!

Great find - their home ales are very good (had to test them all just to be sure!) and the food well cooked and plentiful. Also a Big shout out to the friendly staff - a bit of banter and cheerfulness is always welcome. With good beer, staff and food we had a great night out here.

Great burger and beer today. Service was friendly and quick, as always. Informal dinning, great food. Had tried to book, but answer phone is full. Emailed but no response. Found out when we turned up that they are not currently taking bookings. Plenty of free tables though and table service.

Lucky enough to stop in here this afternoon. Spacious pub with covered outdoor area with a log burner.Nice choice of barrel, keg and bottled beers plus merch and take-away options. They don't do a "beer flight", so I just had two different halves. This pub must have the best brewery-themed toilets that I've ever seen (at least in the gents).I'm only not giving 5 stars on account of the limited choice of non-alcoholic beer (Budvar 330ml only).

Burgers are great! Beer is good and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Staff were lovely and patient (we were a big group with children!) And I thank them for their efforts.Top job!
