We only wanted a very small meal, very welcoming and not made to feel that we were cheapskates. Paté was sufficient and very tasty.Would definitely recommend.

Post lock down the pub has a very different feel. The atmosphere is busy and cheerful. There is a full menu, all tasting great and on Wednesday a tapas evening that includes sharing boards. My favourite main course is a fish option, whatever the fish is the flavours are delicious. Great place for a really great meal.

They were very accomadating fitting us in at the last minute.We were on a work course and needing feeding.We both had the most delightful fish and chips.Staff were kind and courteous.Would recommend.

Highlight of the area. Who would have known such a discrete wee building could house such ambiance and delicious food.The "Pint of Prawns" was a pleasure. Smoked prawns with amazing bread and an edge of punchy aioli. Fish and chips crisp and meaty, exactly as it should be and balanced nicely with a touch of herb mayo.Staff are a pleasure to deal with. Attentive, knowledgeable and articulate yet swift and efficient.
