Lovely food, nipped in on our way back to Sanbanks. The staff are really friendly and they have some excellent artwork of a goat!

Attended a retirement party here and staff were very pleasant to talk to and prices were sensible. Good local rural pub. Love it.

Lovely little pub, serves good food and has a very large selection of different drinks. All the staff that I meet were very friendly and helpful.While I was there the music and atmosphere was good. The jukebox really makes this a nice place.They also have a very nice pool table to keep everyone busy and a large TV for watching sports.

A great local, good range of pub grub and we are always made to feel welcome. Brilliant live music on a regular basis. It's got a pool table, dart board and a table tennis table! These are all discreet and away from the main bar/restaurant areas and not intrusive.Roaring log burner is a definite plus.

Cosy, warm welcoming, and fairly priced pub. My family and I always stop by here for a drink (or 3) when visiting the area on holiday. The staff are friendly, polite and make you feel welcome. They have a wide choice of quality draught beer, special flavour gins and more. Food is excellent and we always look forward to our next visit when we leave.

Decent pub with really good food! Has a good restaurant section as well as normal pub seating. Has a good pool table and a good size beer garden which is used regularly for events such as bands.

Barman could benefit from a charm course - looked like someone having a bad day. They replaced the cloudy pint of ale I bought.. with a different cloudy one. They were the only two ales on offer. Beer garden could be really nice with a tidy up and a few more tables.
