The Honiton Wine Bar in East Devon

I have been living here for 5 years and can honestly kick myself that I had never visited. The service and food were wonderful. My husband had the fish. Superb. I had the Pizza.... Being half Italian I am fussy with anything claimed to be Italian. I told the owner and chef that he is now on our list of the" Best Pizzas in the World". I told him the best ones we have had were in Venice, Antwerp, Martinique and Croatia and now it's Honiton!We both had a lovely time. The staff were attentive and friendly and our little Waitress (sorry I've forgotten her name) was charming and a little sweetie. We wanted to hug her she was so cute. So thank you again for a lovely time and when my husband is back on shore leave you will be our first port of call if you pardon the pun!Davina Blake MBE

Tapas and a seafood platter to die for. Great food in a lovely atmosphere, with really friendly staff. Tried Malmado, Argentina's equivalent of Port whilst we were there - it's rather marvellous.

Fish platter and cocktails are great and the staff are excellent. Would definitely go back

Visited before and food, especially the Steaks are great.Family were not as blown away this time, but we will return.

On a nice day, just sitting at their cafe table, watching the world go by with a cold drink - couldn’t be better.Food was nice too - tapas style, great value.Not a bar as such, but enjoyed it all the same.

Went there last night, great relaxing atmosphere and from the tapas to the dessert, quality food. Highly recommended.

By far the best steak I have ever eaten... and I love a steak!The atmosphere and the service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble... even when my little boy wanted something that wasn't available on the menu he got exactly what he wanted making my experience so much more relaxed.This wonderful family run business have really excelled themselves.Thank you Honiton Wine Bar, you are fabulous!

This place is an absolute little gem. Been here multiple times. Steaks Always on point! Tapas is the best I’ve had in a long time. I even ventured away from my normal choice once and had a nut roast. Never been disappointed!You can can tell the food is fresh and prepped on order by how good it is! The team there always warm and welcoming too.Defiantly a must try!

Fantastic restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere with very helpful and friendly staff. The food is amazing with Pete the chef very talented in the kitchen. Lisa is usually front of house with other members of the family. Coping very well with Covid restrictions. Definitely worth a visit.
