This is the only place open within a 2hr walk on Sundays. Doesn’t serve food between 2pm and 6pm. Manager lady does not let you eat your own food with a beer from tap between 2pm and 6pm either. Nice

Great friendly pub, serving a good selection of ales. We had lunch in there and the food was spot on and served quickly. We'll be heading back before we leave.

Probably one of the best pubs in the area. Delicious and homely food, great drink choice and warm staff. Does not dissapoint every time we're back in Devon.

Always brilliant food selection, including fish caught from their own fleet of boats, and a great range of drinks including cask ales. The staff are always excellent whether you're there for a meal or just a few drinks. Highly recommended

Potentially the best steak sandwich I've ever had! A lovely garden with a good amount of seating.

Caught the tram from Seaton to Colyton in late April-21, just after things were reopening after Covid. We weren't really expecting very much at Colyton. After a short 10 or so minute walk following signs towards the town we went in (or rather sat outside) for a drink and a bite to eat at lunch and so glad we did. Lots of reserved tables so I would say booking is advisable but managed to grab a table before the next party were due. Good use of outdoor space with covered area and a gas heater. We each had a Devon cider and I had a burger on the specials board. My burger was delicious! Beef patty, and the rest cooked perfect. Good service, as was the value.
