Lovely place although they seemed to be having some timing and supply issues in the kitchen. We waited over 50 minutes for our meal. The meal was lovely when it arrived and the chocolate fudge cake was gorgeous. The waitress was lovely and we were given free drinks to make up for the long wait. Hope they get the issues sorted soon

Lovely food here one of the best burgers I have had. the manger was really nice to let us bring our dog in and to say hello. Bar staff I belive his name was dan was really friendly and we felt welcome. awesome place definitely will be back.

What a beautiful pub! Dog friendly the food was amazing and the manager Martin couldn’t do enough for us, very pleasant and helpful with our food choices. Will definitely return.

Service was fabulous! Rib of beef from the Christmas menu was divine! Complimentary fizz at the end of our 'yoga ladies' was a very nice touch. The manager was even kind enough to return a deposit for one of our ladies who was too poorly to attend!Thanks to all the staff x

We visit the Merchant every time we come to Exmouth and promised ourselves to one of the delicious Sunday roast lunches we have witnessed. Sadly we were disappointed when 2 roast beef came instead of 2 roast pork and they were very nice but served on cold plates we were served with extra gravy but not offered any sauces or asked if if our meals were OK which would have been the opportunity to get the sauces, pleasant service though and we will be back 😀

Had a great meal here which we thought was reasonable priced, staff very helpful and very upbeat. The atmosphere and feel was bright airy which made for a pleasant evening.
