We were given a warm welcome, after we read the reviews we expected the food to be much better than it was. We ordered two different dishes and both were not of a good standard. We left disappointed and we wouldn't recommend.

Really enjoyed it. Had the scallops wrapped in bacon, stunning and fillet steak, perfect washed down with great company, conversation and a cuba libre and a mojito. Great night out, reasonably priced, great food and decent amount, everyones a winner! 4.5 on trip advisor too

Arrived without booking and was greeted warmly and seated straight away which was great. Our order was taken in good time by the lovely front of house staff. We ordered chilli nachos and the Combo Por Dos. These came out in less than 10 minutes. I would say any other time that was great but the food was literally thrown on a plate. The ‘chilli’ nachos had no chilli on them and had only a few jalapeños hiding under a ridiculous amount of sour cream. The Combi Por Dos was of extremely poor quality, the meat was cold and grey with the bbq sauce poured on both chicken and ribs like an after thought, no marinading in sight. My partner and I both felt poorly/disgusting after eating it. I didn’t even finish what I had because I was so put off at the cold chicken. I know this is a busy restaurant but there was just no thought or effort put in at all. I won’t be coming back here. That being said the girls in there were very lovely although one of them when asked said she didn’t know if they offered a discount and didn’t bothered to go and check either.

I've been eating out in the Exmouth area for 3 month and finally got round to this place. What a gem! Walking through the door you're met by happy friendly staff. Looking at the menu, there's plenty of choice, plus specials too. All very reasonably priced! The drinks are also very reasonable for a restaurant. Good start! The starter... I had tuna, perfectly cooked and beautiful flavours! The main... if you order the mexicana, be warned The description should read "this chicken was marinated on the rim of an active volcano and cooked in the core of the sun"! ...." its spicy just doesn't cut it! However the flavours are to die for! Dessert, the chef's Mexican ice cream is quite simply delicious! In summary, I usually live in Plymouth.... I would happily make that journey for a meal here. Absolutely amazing and well worth the visit!

Two stars only because the waitress was friendly and polite. After hotel staff suggested this place and high review score, we were surprised that food was not properly cooked and poor quality ingredients. My partner took ribs for a starter and they were very stiff. Even juice was doubtable quality. I took mushrooms where bread was clearly not fresh and hard. When main arrived (chicken in sauce) after a bite of it we had to return it as it was not able to chew at all and got our appetite ruined for night.Waitress was kind enough to accept our concenrn and apologized.

Always used to use this restaurant and really enjoyed it. Not been for years due to moving away. Then we came back and the restaurant looks very tired. Food was a disappointment too. Wont be on the top of our list in the future. Shame.

The combo para dos was excellent but the 2 meals for 12 was not good enough! The service was great. Nice garden, personalized beer glasses and the toilet was neat!

Excellent all round. Friendly staff and efficient service. Food well presented, comprehensive menu with choices for those who like spicy Mexican food and those that prefer something less adventurous. Check out the menu, as well as the Mexican dishes there are steaks and vegetarian dishes to cater for all and a good selection of sweets. Not to mention the list of modestly priced cocktails. Excellent quality and good value for money. Really great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

As we were going here on a Saturday night, we rang and reserved a table which was just as well. Mexican restaurants are always popular and this one was no exception. Got there for 8.45 and ordered bottle of wine and food. Wife had vegetarian fajitas and I had Lamb Burrito. Took 20 minutes or so which was no problem. The staff were all very busy as they were serving outside as well as inside. Excellent food and value as the bill total was just under £43. Will be back next time we are down there. 😀🌮🍷🇲🇽
