The Restaurant at Sidmouth Garden Centre in East Devon

I had a very enjoyable visit here. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

We bought some pond plants and strawberry plants. The store is well stocked and the plants looked healthy.

Brilliant cafe/restaurant with a good selection of meals and cakes. Good service and fairly quick.

We went for lunch for the first time since it changed ownership and were very pleasantly surprised. Good menu choices, decent prices, very nice staff and great service. Recommended

Came here for lunch last week, it was as cold in there and we moved into the main part which wasn’t much better. Sat on filthy dirty stained bench seat which put us off of eating. We both had a daily roast, beef tough, 2 small roast potatoes, not much of anything else.Wouldn’t eat there again

Really lovely lunch today, wide variety of choice. staff were really friendly and helpful. very clean and tidy and well organised. Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely garden centre, however Cafe is a huge let down, Me and my Partner went for food lunch time, ordered food no issue, pots of cutlery already premade, the server handed us soaking wet cutlery. upon closer inspection at the table the cutlery was very much dirty with food slobbered on one side of the fork. Girlfriend had a milkshake which they’d wedged a broken plastic straw into resulting in my girlfriend finding small chunks of plastic imbedded into her drink, when flagged up to a waitress, requesting a straw and a clean set of cutlery, was greeted to a dirty look, followed by what felt like a confrontation until we explained the cutlery was dirty, which she promptly took away. Food arrives, No sign of cutlery. Cheese panini was burnt bread and a pinch of cheese inside, chucked leaves and mixed veg on the side and that’s £8.95. Fish burger was very average resembled that of a McDonald’s burger. I’m aware lemon is a pleasant compliment to Fish dishes but this sauce tasted more like it belonged on a dessert. So disappointing had very high hopes reading the reviews. First time I’ve ever written a review. the worst food/dining experience I’ve ever had.

Very helpful and patient staff . Took my little doggy who was fussed over and given a treat I think she will want to visit again. Lovely to walk around very spacious with lots of new and interesting things to purchase. Flowers were lovely and we'll laid out for easy access. Checkout staff kind helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is a lovely garden centre to visit if in the area...We stopped off here for something to eat & drink when we were down in Devon on one of our many regular trips to the beautiful county...It has a lovely big restaurant with plenty of seating both inside & outside with lovely views,it is all kept beautifully clean & the staff are all very nice & welcoming....The garden centre itself has all the usual flowers,gardening equipment & gifts,something for everyone...Well worth a visit if you are in the area...👍

A lovely garden centre in a good location that has ample free parking that sell a great range of everything you could possibly need for your garden plus much more, nice restaurant that sell a good range of hot meals, sandwiches, cakes as well as hot & cold beverages, plus nice staff to assist you with any help or advice you need before making that final decision on a purchase.
