The Tytherleigh Arms in East Devon

Hands down my favourite restaurant ever. The ever-changing menu is sensational with so many great options, beautiful plating and incredible flavours. Service is always welcoming and friendly and the venue is cosy and intimate. You are guaranteed to be impressed.

We were looked after when we had a meal here. Food was well presented and tasty. Service was swift and efficient. The waiting staff was professional.

We've been visiting this pub for well over 40 years. It's been through numerous guises. Now a decent local restaurant serving excellent, imaginative food. Probably overpriced but great staff with wonderful courteous manners. My only issue is that the wine by the glass selection is somewhat limited, I understand the economics of this but it needs expanding.

My husband and I went for lunch here and it was superb.We are not from this area but if we were we would go here regularly. A very high standard of food, and a great selection of no alcohol drinks.Service was fantastic and the interiors of the pub is stylish and welcoming.Run by a lovely couple definitely worth more than one visit.

This former coaching inn dating back to the 16th century has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food is fabulous and beautifully presented on hot plates. Everything that we were served was delicious from the amuse-bouche, a lovely surprise, to the dessert was excellent. All in all a lovely experience, can't wait to go back again.

Been going here for years now at least once a month we try and get there for food, the entire experience from the staff to the food and the dining area is stunning, can never fault it, our favorite place to eat by far!!!

I deliver (fresh fruit and veg) to these guys every day and had been promising myself a visit for so long. Well, I had Sunday lunch today and I have to say it was probably the best dining experience I have experienced... The food was excellent (never tasted venison so good), seasoned perfectly, all the sauces capers etc were there to improve the plate. Nothing too much, and nothing too little this was an excellent dining experience. So desperately need to go back for the mid-week menu. Top job Guys.

We visited for dinner about 5yrs ago whilst staying elsewhere. Various reasons have delayed our return but our recent weekend away, including an onsite B&B stay and dinner both nights did not disapoint. Excellent quality, and really tasty food.

A tad disappointed, the staff were excellent as always the food however was not upto par. The partridge starter was nigh on cold and the steak was tasty but very tough, offered another steak which frankly was not much better dry thin and overcooked not a sirloin steak. The highlight was desert which was excellent.

Really exceeded our expectations. We went for a special birthday Sunday lunch meal and we absolutely loved it. All 3 courses were delicious and served by extremely friendly and engaging staff. We will definitely return.... Often!
