Poor attitude; came across as sullen and unfriendly. No thank you, nothing. No table service like most fish and chip restaurants. Poor food for the price; fish tasteless and not well cooked, chips bitty and left in hot box too long. We won’t be back.

Great place for fish & chips. Plenty of choice, generous portions and great value. Well worth a visit.

Always came here when in Sidmouth and looked forward to it this time too. But, it seems the new owners should maybe stick to serving kebabs from a van. Expensive, badly 'cooked' (if at all) and you need to check your receipt as the alleged language barrier conveniently works to their advantage when charging you. Even the gulls didn't want it.

The language barrier and pressure to keep the que mooving the service here come across as a bit abrupt/rude. But forewarned is forearmed and I went knowing what to expect. Good fish and chips, not the greatest, but leagues away from the worst.

Went here on the 01/10/21 for take away fish and chips. On arrival the place looked nice and man serving didn't seem interested however I can see past that. I walked to the beach with the family to get stuck in, however the chops were very greasy to the point that was all we could taste also undercooked, the fish had a almost soapy taste. Have to say I don't usually do reviews but this was shocking hands down the worst fish and chips I have had! Shame

Not the usual standards from these guys and always come here for the best fish and chips in Sidmouth. Not the usual staff either so a total staff change or new ownership. The chips tasted like they were either over cooked or cooked twice, the vegi burger was burnt and the mushy peas was served with a crusty skin on it.Will give it the benefit of the doubt and try a second time if it's just a one off as it'll be a shame to not come here any more and have never had a bad meal.

Excellent food and coffee. Quite a big cafe right in the middle of Sidmouth town centre, offering both takeaways and sit down meals.Very Covid secure with Track and Trace and hand sanitiser as soon as you enter the premises.Good service and overall a very good experience.

A lovely looking fish & chip cafe with a take away where you order what you want at the till once you have found yourself a seat, then somebody brings your meal over to you once it's ready.I decided to eat here today whilst on holiday in this stunning area, but i have to say despite the food I could see coming out of the kitchen, my meal was tiny, completely overcooked & extremely disappointing, the OAP meals looked such good value for the price I saw advertised, but the other couple of people eating there must of been having the cod & not haddock like I chose as there's looked thick & golden, not skinny & burnt like mine, plus the chips were cut so tiny & were just tasteless bits, the chef actually walked off for a chat leaving my haddock in the fryer leaving the poor till girl to take it upon herself to dish it up, I left there both starving & disappointed for the price I paid, even the drink was tiny, weak & very tepid.
