Toast in East Devon

Very nice little place to eat, with a pretty garden area and plenty of inside seating. Loved the table tops made of well worn wood! Nice menu choice, reasonably priced and good sized servings. Friendly efficient service from the serving staff. They also had a tempting array of cakes in a display, but unfortunately the main course didn't leave me room. Oh well a good excuse for a return visit for coffee and cake!

We stopped for coffee and ended up having lunch at this lovely place. The well maintained andmature garden is a wonderful place to eat, and is covered against the elements.I had what was probably the best jacket potato I had ever eaten. It was large, tasty, and generously filled and served with delicious homemade coleslaw and a good sidesalad.All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect weather for sitting outside in this lovely area.We just had Toast and coffee..as good as the Toast was..granary and white..unsliced bread please! Given your name your toast should be Tip Top!

Charming spot with gorgeous, extensive tea garden out back. We came here for cream tea and were 100% satisfied. We also sampled some cakes and quiches, which were overall quite tasty, with a special mention to the pecan toffee bar. The service was friendly and obliging.

A lovely cafe at the end of the bustling High Street. It's a cosy place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly.The garden is lovely, quaint, cottage-like, surrounded by plants and birdsong. Truly a serene place when the sun is out.Great menu options, from a cuppa and cake, to a more filling lunch. The vegan options were a considered part of the menu (I felt spoilt for choice) as opposed to a token add on option.Great friendly service.

We went here for lunch, both had a fry up & went for half portion was fantastic. More than enough. Staff were excellent always cleaning the tables. Carrot cake was bit dry only grumble

Lovely little cafe. Staff were friendly, ordered toast and apple & mint tea, hoping it would be loose tea in the pot hopes were dashed when I took the lid off the teapot to see a teabag otherwise it was good.

Fantastic place for breakfast. Good value full English with veggie and vegan options. Service was great! Thoroughly recommended to all.

Our first time back to Toast since lockdown and delighted with the experience. Sitting in the beautiful garden was an absolute pleasure. Staff warm and welcoming and extremely helpful guiding me through the online ordering system. Gluten friendly pizza was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
