Great place, sit in the window to people watch outside. Board games if needed, friendly staff, good atmosphere.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My favourite local business. A unique blend of super high quality coffee, friendly attentive staff and community spirit. Oh, and I like the waffles. I defy anyone to leave the Waffle House and not feel better about the world (reviewed by a resolved grouch).

What a surprise, first visit since they moved ( I worried after lock down). Very pleased that they now do really scrumptious savoury waffles alongside their delicious sweet ones. Fabulously friendly staff so helpful and they continue their wonderful community ethos

A wonderfully vibrant, community-centric space, bringing people together over some of the most delicious food imaginable. My humbug assumption was that the grub would play second-fiddle to the community concept. It doesn't, with the two going hand-in-hand like waffles and...well anything really! Truly inspirational!

Visited for a meal and dessert on a busy Saturday afternoon. There was still plenty of room and we were kindly greeted on arrival and seated.There was plenty of choice on the menu and we both had a waffle burger. Both were absolutely delicious as were the desserts.Can highly recommend

The Community Waffle House does exactly what it says on the tin - it is the heart of the community and serves up the BEST waffles. They have regular special waffles so there is always something new to choose from. The staff are all super friendly & helpful. Yes, it can get quite busy depending when you go, so just be patient if you do have to wait as it is 100% worth it! The founders live & breathe what this place is and that really comes across in the vibrancy of the place. If you can’t choose which waffle to go for, get the Awkward One! The smoothies are great too and the views are lush to look out over the Square in Axminster & watch the world go by.

This place is amazing. This was the first time we'd been here but we can thoroughly recommend it. The waffles were beautiful and chosen from a very extensive selection in the menu. The coffee was great and better than the "commercial chain" coffee that we have all been so used to lately.We need to go back and work out way through the menu.They also do a lot for the community with various special evenings, play areas etc

Lovely and lively place. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots going on too. Waffle and smoked salmon salad was delicious! (Please note, the live event of the 24th is different, and the phone number on the brochure isn't correct)

The Community Waffle House is an amazing place! The food is outstanding, so much so we tried the sweet waffles then went back for the breakfast, savoury and sweet waffles again!The staff were fantastic, friendly and attentive, they were also great at getting involved in conversation and took time to get to know us and join in with our card tricks!

Oh what can I say about this place. It's awesome. Such amazing staff. Great concept. We took the boys and they loved playing with the games while we waited for the food. If you are anywhere near the area you must go in. We will be back!!!
