Coach and Horses Public House in East Dorset

Had a lovely meal, all freshly cooked. Lovely atmosphere, great price. Could not find any fault with any of the service or food, will be going back. Highly recommend.

Booked the Coach and horses for Mother's day and we weren't dissapointed, the food was lush and piping hot! I'm Vegan and the Katsu curry was amazing I had to order extra curry sauce as it was that good ♥ lovely atmosphere and everything laid up nice, Mel our Host was so friendly and happy and went above and beyond and also Liam was a great host taking the time to chat with us, a great day all round, will definitely return. X

Always a great pub, day or night. Outstanding landlord and staff, Ashlee and Mel so friendly. Good beers, ciders and food. What more could you ask for? Keep it up. Happydays.

Lovely roast as usual, great value for money as it includes a starter or a dessert. £10.95. Was just cold inside the pub and it's put us off going back until it warms up a little. *edited because we haven't been back since for that reason.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!We were looking for somewhere that could accommodate 21 adults, 4 children, 1 baby and a dog for a Sunday lunch as we were staying nearby for a family get-together as we hadn't been able to all meet up for 2 years and found this place online. Thankfully they agreed to host us and what hosts they were......the service was second to none, the food was excellent and hot when served which should be applauded considering the size of the party. Melissa, Richard, Jacqui and Liam.....you should be so proud of yourselves for your hard work. January 16th will be a day to remember thanks to you all......Melissa, you were amazing

It was our first time since lockdown when we booked a table for ourselves and family. Each one of us ordered a different meal and all were exceptional. The staff, Melissa, Jacqui and Liam were excellent hosts: nothing was to much trouble. will definitely be booking again.

Fantastic pub food cook by the chef, sorry can't remember her name. Meet her after the meal, lovely lady too. Excellent service and customer service from the manage and his assistant. Again can't remember their names. Good night out good food. Well done all ...

Went there for Lunch on a Saturday and really enjoyed the visit.In these Covid times it was nice to see a member of staff wiping a table and all over the chairs after a couple of people left. It was a really through clean as well, making sure all surfaces touched were wiped, very reassuring. Didn’t get her name, but it was a more mature lady on the waiting staff that did the cleaning. Good ventilation in the pub as well.The menu is very extensive with so many things to choose from (see pics).The food itself was excellent and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

What a lovely place. We stopped here for a meal to break a journey. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Their Covid security is excellent.They have a varied menu that offers great value. We all thought our meals were delicious. We're a long way from home, but fully intend calling in again when the opportunity arises.
