Cross Keys Inn in East Dorset

Warm welcome!I had a great time eating at the Cross Keys today. Our food was served & presented lovely with excellent staff throughout. I will definitely be visiting Cross Keys next time I’m in Sherborne.

Great service, really delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly and I recommend the Cross Keys IPA.

Really delicious burger and service during a busy December. The burger was perfectly cooked. Not the cheapest lunch ever but the quality was excellent.

Warm and welcoming. Visited at 5:30 for an early mid-week dinner. Good menu - both of us opted for the hake. Lovely meal followed by Dorset apple cake and a beautiful coffee. Service was friendly and the place was impeccably clean. We look forward to returning.

Really friendly, welcoming pub. Food and wine offering is varied and well thought out. We thoroughly enjoyed three delicious meals. My daughter is allergic to dairy and was given alternative cheese on her burger and made to feel like her allergy made her special rather than difficult. I am a vegetarian who has various allergies and dislikes and I was given a fantastic array of items on the tapas platter all presented beautifully. My husband enjoyed a perfect fish, chips and posh mushy peas. Everything about our experience was on point. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend this wonderful establishment.

Very efficient and welcoming staff who genuinely are interested in their customers' wishes. We have a lovely room overlooking the conduit. Clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant last night. The food 😋 was delicious. There is a surprising amount to see and do here in Sherborne.

Decent room. Excellent staff. Great breakfast. Good value. A little noisy as it is a pub and people outside in square making noise in the early morning... Excellent location in a quaint village.

Do not be put off by the unassuming exterior of this business; the interior is charming, clean and stylish. The food is excellent, the choices available are spot on and the service was friendly, helpful, efficient and unobtrusive. Well done and thank you. 👍

Great place to eat and drink. Menu choices were great and suit most folks. Food was seasonal, presented well and very tasty dishes. Great staff and relaxed dining. Recommend you book ahead for table.

Went here for lunch today with a friend, I had the haddock and chip, my friend had cross keys burger. The fish was the best I've ever had, battered was light and crispy no fat at the bottom, the chips were nice big fat ones and the homemade tartar sauce was really tasty. My friends burger was exactly like the picture and she said it was delish.Excellent staff, friendly nothing was to much bother for them very helpful and we had service with a smile.Thank you Jodie, Alex, Lily, Rosabella, Emil and Ollie for a lovely lunchtime meal.HIGHLY RECOMMEND +++++++
