Fox and Hounds in East Dorset

Can't eat outside due to a refurb in a few weeks??? That doesn't make sense. Over £3 for a "bowl" of small chips. I won't be returning in a hurry

Good value and tasty food. Nice atmosphere. All in all a great place to eat.

We went for Sunday lunch, the staff were brilliant and the food delicious. I had the vegetarian wellington, highly recommend it and my husband enjoyed the roast turkey. Big portions and great value. Can't wait to return.

We visited yesterday for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed!! The service was super fast, the staff were friendly and the roast itself was stunning. Everything was seasoned to perfection, some of the best Yorkshire puddings I've ever had, the potatoes were fluffy yet crisp and the gravy just perfect! Would definitely recommend their roast dinner!!

We had a lovely meal here on Fri the 4th March,in the evening,we were served by Karen,a lovely welcoming lady who has served us many times in the past,always attends to everything we need,nothing is ever too much trouble.The food was very nice (as always) and nice and hot too.On the whole here this pub/restaurant is always very good,the rest of the staff also are good,we never hesitate to come back.

We only popped in spontaneously on New Year's Day for a drink before walking the dog.A table was available in the bar area, which was perfect.Staff were attentive, place clean and atmosphere friendly.Will need to pop back for a meal definitely.

A birthday treat for me. Beautiful pub/restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious - chicken, leek and mushroom pie and hunters chicken. Would highly recommend. Also enjoyed the virgin cocktails too

Such a friendly, warm pub. The staff were just so lovely! It felt cosy, nicely lit. We chose to eat in the pub area rather than the dining area (for the relaxed atmosphere). We opted for the traditional Sunday roast and it was DELICIOUS! They even automatically bought over a boat full of extra gravy! Superb, we will be back ❤️

Fantastic food and really nice staff. Taking Covid measures seriously but not in an intimidating way. Lots of outside seating both out the front and rear meaning that staying in the sun is possible.Multiple lunch menus available and very reasonably priced. Food came in a reasonable time frame and was cooked very well.Will definitely be making a return trip.
