This Garden Centre is one of the best, if not THE BEST in the area. The quality of the plants is first class and generally at reasonable prices. Because they sell plants of different age their prices can seem expensive, but, when you consider the fact that they have put, in some cases, years of care into their plants then you will realise that the prices are actually very reasonable. They also have a lovely cafe, offering a huge variety of food and refreshments. Dogs are welcomed in the outside area.

I have to congratulate Haskins on the centre at Ferndown.Hands down the best quality and range of plants I have seen in a very long time. The range of pots, garden ornaments, water features etc are extensive and varied. The shopping area covers pretty much everything you can wish for in a garden centre...... And to top it all off the restraunt /cafeteria range and quality is beyond what you'd expect in a garden centre - topped off by some amazing cakes. Not the cheapest garden centre but quality more than makes up for the extra cost.Overall a very nice place to visit where you can literally spend several hours. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the whole place was clean and tidy which both add to the experience. In my humble opinion the best garden centre for miles - well done.

Very large garden centre and restaurant. Ample parking outside with dedicated disabled bays. Easy access and very comfortable aisles. Vast amount of merchandise to purchase, however can be a little pricey. Fully functional restaurant with ample tables. Staff team a joy and foods well prepared. Cheese scones to die for. Good 30 minutes to view for sale items .

Great selection of gardening tools, indoor/outdoor decorations (incl. water features), garden furniture, plants and pots. Prices vary from low to high so can accommodate all budgets.Definitely a great place to go for inspiration. The feature sets outside at the very end give you an excellent idea as to how everything could fit together. The food was excellent. We had a cakes and a coffee which were lovely but we went early enough for breakfast where I set upon an 8 item breakfast. It did not dissapoint.Very tranquil outside. Good for a mosey if nothing else.

A very pleasant visit, with acquisition of new roses, runner bean plants (the only place we've found so far that had any) and bedding plants. There was a very good range across the plant area and well stocked. This is a definite garden centre to visit again and again. Nicely laid out and also a place for a refreshment in the coffee shop.Staff very helpful.....important and welcome.

This is a review of the restaurant. My uncle took me there yesterday. I could see no vegan options which was a surprise. Most places do cater for vegans/dairy free and have special vegan meals... And considering this is a place for the family to go I'm not too happy. I could have spoken to one of the staff but these days normally there's options for you to take straight away rather than having to customise an order. I settled for a salad. It was very nice but could have done with a bread roll to go with it. My uncle's scone looked nice but he said it was quite dry and crumbly. The girl at the counter was friendly but didn't seem to go the extra mile... Understand it's probably just a Saturday job for her but you need to make the customer feel special! The ambiance of the restaurant is good and it's a very stylish place. It's a bit expensive for me but I may go again if someone else is paying! Thanks

Haskins is a overall a lovely shop. They have a good selection of plants, shrubs etc. The cafe is good and is always very popular. They also sell a wide range of other products including garden furniture, pet food, clothes, food which are often unusual although expensive.

Loads of beautiful tubs and pots to bring Christmas cheer to your homes. Such a great place to buy a Christmas tree. Really good value for money. So many trees and they smell amazing. (The trees are very handsome!!) There are treats galore in the coffee shop, happy and helpful staff, it's well worth a visit as are the craft huts just near the exit where I purchased some beautiful hand made decorations. All in all a delightful place to visit making you feel extremely Christmacy.🎄☃️
