Great takeaway, top tier fish, chips not at the same excellent standard.

Really good fish and chips cooked fresh while you wait. We had the standard cod which was big enough for us.

Quality fish & chips, although really surprised & disappointed by their customer service. We unfortunately felt very unwelcome in the shop, with one staff member as good as complaining about us to the other staff member in front of us. If we’d had other options, we would have gone somewhere else. They let themselves down really, which was a shame

We've had Longs F&C's for ever. I always order on phone so never had to wait more than moments. Lovely cod, batter and chips. A wally side order is a must too!

The best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Beautifully battered and cooked haddock and crunchy chips with fluffy centres. Heaven

We chose the O.A.P's Special at £8. For that we got Fish, chips and mushy peas (there is a limited choice), ice cream or rice pudding, and coffee or tea. When the fish and chips arrived it looked a small serving (note: the fish IS smaller than standard, because it's cheaper as a "Special"). As it turned out, it was plenty for us and beautifully cooked - couldn't have been better. When I asked the waitress if the coffee was any good she was taken aback and maybe thought I was being difficult, but held her cool and said it was from a machine and not "instant". It was a good cup of full-flavored coffee. The glasses of white wine which accompanied the meal (our choice) were great and made it into an occasion. The only niggle was the small size of the plate it was served on. A matter of perception, but it made the meal look cheap. Next time maybe I'll ask for the Special on a bigger plate and wait for the reaction! By the way, the waitress was very pleasant, efficient and friendly.

We ordered our fish and chip supper from the counter in the shop and waited at the side for it to be prepared.We didn't wait very long for the food to be ready.The food was perfect when we got it home, fresh tasting and beautiful.I hope to go back next time I'm in Bridport

Visited here with my young cousins to enjoy some chips and fish. It seemed quite expensive for the given portion sizes but I was happy to waive that aside given it was a day out treat.We took the chips back to the caravan and got ready to tuck in. To be honest I was very disappointed. The chips were very stodgy and the fish poorly battered. This was in the middle of the day and it wasn't busy at all so it's not like they were rushed making them. To be honest I think the quality is inexcusable for the price.If I were you, I'd avoid and go elsewhere
