Old Watch House in East Dorset

Sometimes places that are in a great seaside location would put their prices up and the quality and portion sizes of their food might not need to be good because they have location. Not this place. Great food at reasonable prices. Lovely sized portion for avo on toast with two poached eggs. All for £10.

Came here with Mum and Dad the other weekend, found it via Google reviews and thought to give it a go. Great venue right on the beach. Humble looking from the outside but don't let that put you off the food (& coffee) is fantastic! So much choice with the star of what we had was the fish curry. It was sublime. Also it is very dog friendly which is always a nice bonus. Will definitely come back in a few weeks time!

Great cafe! Popped in here for a coffee today when it started raining and stayed for lunch. Friendly and thoughtful service, lovely coffees and very good food. The crab sandwiches were delicious as was the fish and chips.

Stopped here for lunch on the first day of our holiday. The pizzas are delicious and it's great you get a choice of size 9" or 12".

Wonderful veggie pizza, friendly service. Lovely view across the stoney beach.Good menu of cocktails (didn't try them but they sounded fun).Was given a birthday donut which made my day. Thank you 😊

Food was amazing! A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Me and my partner had fish and chips which was amazing!Covid restrictions were good and I felt safe. I don't own a dog but it was nice to see it was a dog friendly place. Warm and toasty on a cold rainy winters day.

I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, combined with fresh, delicious, thoughtful food. I was blown away. Awesome.

We dropped in for dinner - 3 adults, 2 kids. Good choice of pizzas and drinks, plus a few mains with fresh fish. All was tasty and well-priced considering the location (right on the beach). The only slight complaint was not being able to order a starter of garlic bread but we had it with our mains. Definitely recommended if you're in the area

Lovely setting right on beach wife had prawn linguine I had deep fried baby squid linguine was very nice bit disappointed with the squid looked good but was mainly batter .Other food looked good perhaps just chose the wrong dish.
