Very affordable, the jukebox has a nice range of songs (bring a pound coin!). Good cleanliness is kept- the women's bathrooms are nice. Wheelchair Accessible with an outside bit for smoking or sitting.Such a good venue, My only critique would be the closing time, I wish they stayed open later!

Classic student/uni pub. Plenty of seating inside and out. The beer is even better than I remember it!

A hidden gem for UoL students and staff alike. Food wise, it's pizza, so limited menu. It's been CAMRA awarded a few times too. Prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly and it's reasonably clean. Decent atmosphere!

The Augustus John is a brilliant pub set in the heart of University of Liverpool’s stunning campus. With a variety of, usually local, real ales at very good prices, the AJ is a bit with students and locals. It’s easy to walk past but this proper pub is definitely worth a visit.

Lovely pint here at a very reasonable price. I had a carlsberg and the other half had a double bombay sapphire and coke and it was cheaper than two shandies we had a week or so before in the Britannia inn down the prom.

Great pub! Good crowd go in here! Nice staff plenty of seating and centrally located! Popular with the older students!!
