The Churchill Arms in East Dorset

Nice pub.....really friendly staff.Food not so good..Maybe have a smaller menu so you can concentrate on making them better.Cold sticky toffee pudding is just a no no.Although when I ask for it to be heated the young lady was very apologetic.

What an amazing pub!! Our first time here we were welcomed with open arms, the bar staff were so friendly. The food was absolutely spot on the taste was out of this world. We will be coming back hopefully next time a lovely sunny afternoon to enjoy the beer garden.

Very good service from the staff. Enjoyed the roast Sunday dinner. The meat (beef) was tasty and soft. Potatoes good , nice gravy , the veg was a little undercooked ( and I like undercooked) , nice beer , altogether a great visit. Thanks

Great little pub, great log fire burning away, just the job for a couple of pints on a cold day. Bar staff really friendly. Lovely little garden. Inside looks recently renovated. 👍

We went to The Churchill as its only a few miles from us and newly renovated.This was our 1st time going out for a meal since my husband recently became disabled and is now in a wheelchair.They made the experience very comfortable for him. The food was lovely, staff friendly and a relaxing atmosphere in the pub.So we will be back often as the evening went so smoothly.Totally wheelchair friendly from the car, straight into the pub and has disabled toilets.

The chicken was moist and tender with a strong cheese which wasn’t over powering with a very decent size slice of bacon. The salad was fresh, tasty and came with a lovely home made coleslaw. Meal was quick to arrive and I though it delicious, might be personal taste but the chips could of had a bit longer cooking. That said they were cooked and pleasant.The price was the best part, quality food at that price!Can’t wait to comeback and try something else.

Great food, friendly staff this is semi local to us and we sometimes walk here frome Verwood, however on this occasion we were passing through in our camper van and were allowed to stay the night. Landlady is super friendly good selection of food all fresh.. see you again soon

Dropped in for lunch. Very quiet, but very friendly, good selection of beers and food excellent. Good size portions and piping hot.
