Me and my boyfriend have just got back and I don’t usually do reviews but I felt like it was needed, the service was amazing everyone was so friendly and personable. The food was AMAZING and so were our cocktails I really can’t speak highly enough. Thank you for the servers bartenders and chefs who made our experience outstanding. Worth every penny :) we will definitely be returning

This place is OK. Food is overpriced, but was OK. Drinks are overpriced as well especially wine. Upstairs has no atmosphere which doesn't help this review. 🙄 so yeah, just OK. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Lovely little pub. Went for food but, they were fully booked. Had a quick beer and the bar staff gave us a few other suggestions.

Staff are always so friendly and attentive. Burgers are amazing so we went for brunch and it was the best breakky I've had in forever! I had the california eggs. Going back next week.

Four of us had pre booked a table for a mother's day breakfast. A warm welcome on arrival and coffees served. Breakfasts were ordered and there was a delay on their arrival, I guess because the chef wanted to deliver perfect food. When they arrived, that is exactly what they were, perfection. I had the larger full English style breakfast which in truth was larger than I expected and consequently took longer to finish, but finish it I did and didn't need to eat again until the evening. Fabulous, thank you Dancing Moose. Will see you again.

Food was a tad pricey for what it was (burgers £17~ouch) but it was ultimately tasty and the portion sizes were fair.We also had to wait a really long time for service and when our waiter came to take the order it was clear he wasn’t really bothered in providing any level of service so we decided not to stay for another drink.Overall very nice but the staff aren’t very attentive and we had to ask multiple times for the same thing as we kept getting forgotten about.

We enjoyed our meal here. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We came on Thursday night which is half price burger night. I am very glad we did as the burgers cost over £16, that isn't a type, yes really over £16 per burger!!! I was very very surprised at how expensive it was. If it wasn't half price burger night we would have definitely of walked out and gone to the local Wetherspoons just down the road. The burgers were very tasty but definitely not £16+ worth of burger. You didn't even get side salad for that price! Cocktails were good however the prices didn't get any better here. Just shy of £10 per cocktail, nearly fell off of my chair and I was the sober one!! I asked for sauce with my meal, sadly this was all chargeable and you couldn't even get BBQ sauce or ketchup without being stung by more charges. I had to say no to the sauce because I just couldn't bring myself to spending even more money that I was. I could feel the money dripping out of my pockets by this point. If the prices were right then we'd be here more often however the crazily high prices are holding this place back. If you look at other reviews other people are also talking about the prices and how shockingly high they are. Don't come here if you are looking for a normally priced or even slightly higher priced meal as everything on the menu is very high.

Slightly more expensive than a few of its Wimborne counterparts, but definitely worth it - the food, service and atmosphere are all great.I came a little earlier on the weekend and had the vegetarian breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the good quality of food (and amount).

Nice place, friendly staff. The burger though... looked great but i couldn't tell you what it was like because there was so much bread! About a 90-10 ratio bread to burger, same with my wife's chicken burger, use a thinner, brioche or Portuguese bun and it would be so much better! Duck wings had virtually no meat on them either, unfortunately they didn't even touch the side. Also, we were offered chips or sweet potato fries with the burgers, my wife had sweet potato fries but they never mentioned this was an extra charge and added it onto the bill, please make customers aware of that, it's so annoying when places do this! I had the lemonade cocktail, supposed to have gin in it but it just tasted like a Smirnoff ice, the wife had a blackberry one though that was much nicer. Overall, a nice place with great staff but the food needs a bit of tweaking before I can recommend to anyone.
