Had the most gorgeous lunch with my husband and friends. I was so surprised by the choice and quality of the food. Wonderful value too. Staff were delightful and we booked again before we left. Well done the team at this venue. 10 out of 10!!

In middle of journey. Decide to pop in for late lunch. What a good little find. Meal was of a reasonable standard. Was well priced and was served in a timely manner. Entertaining filling in on line menu but managed it. Lol. All pub staff were so friendly and welcoming.

What a lovely place. We all had the lunch special. The food was great, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere set it All off. Can't believe we missed this little gem!

Lovely little local, food is great and very reasonably priced, the atmosphere is also quite cosy, would recommend to anyone local or visiting!

Six of us including two 10 year old went for early evening meal. Great service and attention from George and the food was superb and great value. I recommend the Surf and Turf and the Chicken and Mushroom Pie and Fish Platter are highly recommended by the others of the group. Not many places where you can buy six quality meals plus a bottle of wine at just over £13 per head. Highly recommended and returning soon.

Fantastic pub, fantastic service and the girl serving us was amazing. The food was amazing and reasonably priced but the meals lacked abit of seasoning and the salad could have been offered a with dressing. My partner had the chicken skewers and again needed a sauce to accompany this. But over all very happy 😊.

Called ahead to book a table for six. Arrived to be told there wasn't a table for six and that we could have two tables next to each other...but weren't allowed to move the tables closer. I asked to speak to the manager (who was in the main bar area involved in a poker tournament!), who said we could move the tables closer, which was something. They then said there weren't any children's menus but they did print some more out. After that the service was reasonable but the food was mediocre at best and I definitely would not choose to eat here again. Only plus side was very nice children's play area outside with nice size outdoor seating.
