Really good baguettes and friendly staff. Eclectic decor and old beans and flagstones preserved.Excellent facilities for wheelchair users. Fog friendly. Good beer.Varieties of gin and cocktails in abundance and programme for bands in coming months. Parking for motorhomes with hook ups. £15 per night which seems a bit steep if you are eating in the pub but less than a taxi. Carpark adjoins drovers tracks and access to long walks. Will be going back.

Proper pub, good beer and food but not the cheapest. 5 motorhome with ehu.

I am not sure who those who have written such horrid reviews of this place were actually in the Drovers Inn??!! We only discovered it a few days ago and accidentally found out that it had some electric hook ups for motorhomes and campers much to our delight. Found the pub interior delightful, very clean and welcoming as were the landlord, landlady and the locals, Food was great especially the triple cooked chips and wagu burger.e Lovely garden complete with water for our dog in many places. Very reasonable prices so all in all will definitely return here! (September 23rd 2021}

Very welcoming. Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, the two ciders I liked were both off that day, but the lady who served me did recommend a refreshing local Ale. The hog roast was both tasty and plentiful. Will certainly be going there again

Quite simply the most unwelcoming pub I have ever visited in my life! I will say that we have been using this pub on an irregular basis for over 30 years. During this time the management has changed many times, some have been brilliant, others far from it. The current ones fall into the later category. First impressions mean a lot and the first impression of this pub is that it looks like a bomb has gone off. The whole place is completely full or tat and rubbish. Everywhere you look there are hundreds of old paperbacks, almost every table is covered in menus, glasses with odds and ends of cutlery in them. The old Covid one way barrier almost completely obstructs the main entrance. The bar is covered in trays of glasses, boxes of biscuits and signs and more tat, so much that it is almost impossible to stand and have a drink. You could of course sit on one of the very tasteless white leather and chrome stools that look like they came from a 1970's beach house. There are boxes of crisps pilled high, a large box full of empty biscuit boxes, dirty mops and brushes and odds and ends of someone's personal belongings, a piano that has a mountain of complete rubbish piled on top. We should have left but we were hungry and looking for something to eat and despite their only being 4 other people in the bar the landlord suggested that we sit at a table the size of the average round tea tray!. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and he very reluctantly cleared one of the tables of the many many menus and piles of tat and moodily said, "you can sit here if you want then" I could go on and on but won't because these people are doomed to fail. Alex Polizzi would have a field day.

Had gone here for a country pub experience, hoping for home cooked food and friendly atmosphere .... unfortunately none of it lived up to expectations,. Therefore I would not recommend going here.

Fantastic spot with truly epic views and lots of history which you can see and feel as soon as you rock up. Lovely staff. Lots of space inside and out. Food was great with a delicious veggie haggis and gluten free sticky toffee pudding. Lovely whiskeys too.

Not impressed. Poor menu. Landlady offhand bordering rude. Very small portions served on small plates. Serve yourself cutlery and condiments. Didnt feel welcome and over priced. Would not recommend on any level.

Very good dog friendly pub with decent range of beers in lovely rural setting. The veggie food was good (fantastic skin on chips!) though the burger itself didn't seem to be home made. Despite being very busy on a Bank holiday Monday service was good.
