The Minster Arms in East Dorset

Staff friendly and accommodating. Room was everything it was advertised as. Food was nice with a varied menu to choose from. When I visit my family again, I will be looking to stay again. Highly recommended.

Went to the Minster Arms today and what an amazingly warm welcome we had. This is how a pub should be and this is how you should be made to feel. It was really special. My daughter had fish and chips which was lovely and they let us feed my grandson with food we had bought with us. Would totally recommend. Thank you to the lovely man who served us to day xxx

Lovely meal, good service, price was okay. Acoustics aren't great though so if there's a noisy bunch on the next table it isn't easy to hear yourself. Would go again.

What a lovely place!! Relaxing, comfortable surroundings and really delicious food, served by helpful knowledgeable staff. Cannot fault it. Fresh home cooked food, most locally sourced and beautifully served.

Lovely interior, friendly and welcoming staff BUT not enough of them. It was very clear there were not enough staff to look after the number of tables booked in the restaurant. As for Vegan options, lacking is an understatement - come on guys, get with the times!! Such a shame, this could be a real gem

Waited 1 hour 20 minutes for our first course despite only 2 other tables being occupied that evening.Ordered extra fries but only after main course arrived did they choose to inform us they had no more fries (what kind of pub restaurant runs out of fries?!)We were offered the option of decaf coffee them told there was none.And one of the waitresses resigned and walked out half way through her shift!

Went for lunch. Welcome was cold and unfriendly. Service was slow despite being only people in. Ask our staff for the vegan options the menu said. Staff didn't know what they were and when they checked with the kitchen there weren't really any. Non vegans reported food was good. Decor and interior is very nice but overall an opportunity missed. Will not be returning.

A fantastic stay! Clean and modern rooms / bathrooms. Pub was great and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were more than accommodating for myself, wife and toddler. Highly recommend

4 of us ate there last night. The food was excellent and well presented. The staff were courteous and very pleasant. Will certainly visit again in-fact booked for six this Sunday

Went last night with my girlfriend and a friend for a reunion. We ate and drank and absolutely loved it. All three of us had the burger and as a burger lover who has sampled burgers across the globe it was one of the best I’ve ever had! So much flavour!The wine list was also spot on as was the service. After our meal we chilled on one of the sofas at the front with another bottle in the lovely setting at the front until closing time!Thanks for a lovely evening!
