Lovely country pub with carpark. Really friendly and helful staff. Food was nothing special but fine for a bite to eat. The Whitebait were very tasty. Good beer and non alcoholics selection. Nice outside seating areas

The food here is well cooked but does nothing to stand out. The service does stand out and the staff are exceptional. I just wish that the menu items were too.

Thank you Tom and Kyla for looking after us and ah b a superb Sunday lunch! The roast was terrific and the brownie for desert was just, so indulgent! Lovely atmosphere, friendly, warm, comfortable. Highly recommended

This was the second time for us. We come from Swindon Are daughter lives here. Today I can't thank them enough for making room for two more people for Sunday lunch in there very busy pub. I had a booking for just two. Your Sunday roast are the best. And my guest are from verwood and thay enjoyed it to. Highly recommended. Thank you

Food was nice, however the service was atrocious, we were just left on our own,. eventually we asked for the waitress for a drink and pudding , and she took out order but completely forgot about us again, when I went to look for her she was sat at a table polishing the cutlery. So we decided to pay up and go.Felt really disappointed as we managed to get a babysitter for the evening and looking forward to a nice evening but was let down by the poor service.Recently went for another meal, and had a lovely evening, food was delicious and we were really looked after by the team.A big thank you for a great night.

Had the Burger & pint offer for £10, excellent. The service is always first rate and table service available if you prefer. The log fires are an added bonus.

Not usually one for posting reviews (especially good ones) but the service last night was exceptional. The waitress couldn't do enough for us (apologies as I did not ger her name). The food was delicious and we were actually very pleased it was so quiet. Thank you so much

So far so good, had a couple of pints this afternoon which were excellent, calling in again later for a meal. Just had a meal and it was 1st class, very tasty, will definitely call in again, highly recommend
