Absolutely shocking service!!!. We booked a table for 11 people a few weeks ago.The waitress took our drinks order and told us to order in 10 minutes as they were busy, we were actually the only people there at the time.When the waitress returned with our drinks , which took longer than 10 minutes she informed a few of up our drink choices weren’t available.So drinks sorted, we put in our food order. A few of us had to order alternatives as they had run out of what we wanted.We wanted one and a half hours for our food. While other tables , who put their orders in after were being served. The excuses we were told when we asked where our food was!!! “It’s just being plated up” this was over 15 minutes before we got the foodThe food arrived. Most looked like they were sat under a lamp for ages, a steak came out way over cooked and was sent back.The bill came with no apology or reduction offered by the staff.So all in all zero stars for this review !!A few of us didn’t get the food or drink they wanted. One meal was sent back. Oh and the mens toilet was broken!!We should have gone to Mc Donald’s up the road.

Really nice inside. Best black pudding I've had in ages, Staff are great too. Despite sickness and absence service was extremely quick and the brekky was spot on. Another huge plus is kids eat free with paying adults, Really can't complain for the price.

Good value during the week. Plenty of parking. Staff very efficient. Would have no problem visiting again.

Came here for breakfast, massive selection of food on the continental buffet. Staff were nice. The cooked breakfast brought to our table was good too. Really great value for money too. Kids eat free!

Always a lovely welcome and lovely food. Nice coffee and great to see they support key workers with use of the blue light card. X

Very warm and welcoming staff.They were not overbearing and provided an excellent service. The staff are very accommodating to suggest whats good in the area.The food was fresh and cooked beautifully the wait time was minimal and the quality and quality of the food was great and very well priced.Cleanliness was very good and even the male toilets were very well kept.This has been a wonderful and pleasant experience I would definitely recommend this place and come back in the future.Pictured is the Big Dipper Burger and was delicious!

Friendly staff and the usual great Quality food. The only down side, the restaurant really needs a make over, especially the carpets, they really need a clean

We've been here many times, but this visit was as good as any. My wife and I went with 2 friends and we were all impressed.Staff were really friendly, food was excellent and served in good time without rushing us at all. We shared 2 helpings of Belgian Waffles and they were delicious. As I had a voucher the price was great as well, so we all came away really happy.Well done Smugglers Haunt!
