The Stocks Inn in East Dorset

Went for lunch - was very busy so would advise to prebook. Food and service was great! Only downside was car parking and other customers not parking in spaces properly.

Amazing food and the staff were really good. Even though the pub was packed and very busy our server still took time to listen to my mother in law who had food allergies.

Birthday meal booked for 13 people the meals were fantastic. The staff and service was great. They were so accommodating with the menu we would recommend them always. THANK YOU!

Love the location and the interior of the pub. Staff were amazing and really friendly. The food I have tasted better and felt it wasn't worth the price but desserts were stunning

We've come to the Stocks Inn a few times now whilst visiting family and have always had excellent meals. Food is always piping hot when brought to the table and always excellent. Staff are really friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend.

Love this place but disappointed with recent visit. Usually food is always very good but this time the steak i had was like cutting rubber. Very tough and full of gristle so couldn't eat it.Price was taken off of the bill but still disappointed

Busy village pub, popular with locals and those in the surrounding area. Friendly service, excellent food and good prices. Recommended that you book a table in advance. Typical pub menu - fish and chips, hunter's chicken, steak and ale pie, but generous portions and better quality than most other pubs. I can recommend their beer battered fish and chips. Perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty !

4 of us had Sunday lunch last weekend to celebrate my aunts birthday. It was a fantastic meal and this was backed up by wonderful helpful polite staff. I would highly recommend the stocks inn. Well done and thank you.

Very nice outside seating area at this restaurant, easy drive to get there and lots of quality parking. Inside was kind of vintage and old styled but very nice. Service and staff were amazing and very kind! Bar also looked very cosy for the locals! Would defo go back for drinks. Only recommendation is add some sauce to the burger!! Or an option!! Ideally some burger sauce but Mayo or ketchup works great! Patty was a very decent size and cheese was delicious - think it was sourced locally. Onion rings were also amazing!!
