The Thirsty Bird in East Dorset

Have visited here many times for breakfast and coffee over the last couple of years and have always left very happy with the yummy food options and brilliant coffee, along with the friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food can sometimes take a while, but this is understandable when it is busy and the kitchen is so small so we don't mind.Haven't tried them for drinks and cocktails in the evening but will definitely visit one evening with friends.

Beautiful quaint little place with reasonable prices and its own on street burger van for food! 🙏 Met a friend I hadn't seen in a long time for a long old catch up and this was the perfect place!

Lovely place great service and top coffee went again with my mate poached eggs on toast and avocado lovely jubbly.

27/02/2022.Visited mid morning for ‘Brunch’.Can’t find fault, foods delicious, drinks are well sized and very high quality whatever your menu choice.Menu is small as others have mentioned but due to this small menu sized all items are of the highest quality and arrive in quick time.Decor within the building is different and brings the place alive and all previous points pair together for a lovely experience. Staff are polite and extremely switched on. Highly recommend to anyone.

Myself and my friend popped in to The Thirsty Bird yesterday for lunch. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Our service times were excellent and the food was exceptional! I haven't been to a cafe/restaurant for sometime were I've returned home and felt compelled to write a review, if you are near Wimborne this place is a must! Also we both noted what a fantastic menu/selection they have. Its not large but its all the best things! Thanks for such a lovely lunch, we will both be back I'm sure!

Service was wonderful and so friendly the minute we came in, could not be faulted! As other mentioned the menu is fairly limited but everything on there looked yummy, both of us really enjoyed our brunch and the coffee was nice :)

Such a lovely find, in the heart of Wimborne it has the kind of welcoming vibe you want, the bar staff were exceptional and attentive to a point I haven’t previously experienced and the cocktails have left me looking forward to my next visit. I can’t wait to return, I highly recommend!

Had a delicious avocado on toast here. The decor and vibe is relaxed and the staff friendly. Will definately return and try some other items from the menu.

Amazing food, amazing coffee supplied by South Coast Roast & a beautiful hidden gem in Wimborne. Plenty of vegan & gluten free options. Staff are super friendly - highly recommend!
