Always an interesting visit we found some good plant bargains and enjoyed our usual pleasant reception in the restaurant I thoroughly recommend this garden centre.

The employees in this garden centre are very helpful and friendly, they are happy to help you with whatever needed. The employee that really stood out in this garden centre is Brian. He was determined to help us with finding specific plants and get us a trolly even though he wasn't asked. He's a genuine nice guy. And I believe he is the star of the garden centre! Thank you to all at this garden centre! 😁

Normally I love this place, and would give it 5 stars for its' helpful staff, wonderful plant selection, and peaceful ambience. I have also had good food at the cafe, and especially like their indoor 'outdoor' section. However, yesterday I went here plant shopping with my sister. She bought a number of plants, I just bought 4 from the clearance section. There were two large trollies with a notice saying that the plants were reduced from £2.60 to half price. The 'gentleman' on the till said that since each pot was not marked, they were clearly not 'on sale'. He 'stretched a point' and let me have 2 at half price. I was made to feel like some kind of criminal. Trust me, if I was going to do a 'scam' it would be for much more than £5.20! On reflection, I should have called the Manager to complain on the spot, but I have been boiling about it ever since, so am now venting my anger.

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning when there were less than 8 people in the restaurant.I had a hard time trying to find a clean knife and fork and the paper menu on the tables were grubby and some had sauce stains on them.I ordered a traditional breakfast which arrived on a lukewarm plate. The bacon was cold and under cooked and the potato waffle tasted like it had been warmed up from a former breakfast.I cannot understand why a Manager reading the reviews for this food outlet is unable to set things right and see that the staff are trained properly in providing a reasonable service. With so many other places to eat in the area I will not be returning to this one.My cat could do a better job.

Popped in for some lunch after going to camping world next door, ordered our food, a panini a toastie and a child's lunch box and 2 cakes for £27 which seems a little pricey, we sat down and after 20 minutes there was no sign of our sandwiches, after 30 minutes went up and asked about where they were, aparently our order had been lost, the you guy behind the till didn't seem to care at all and wondered off, replaced our order with a girl and went and sat back down, 10 minutes later the food showed up, when we eventually went to eat our cake it had dried out. Overall a really poor experience and portly dealt with, won't be eating here again.

Food was disgusting. My friends son had the chicken chorizo pasta and it was just a solid mass of soggy pasta. No flavour. I had a sandwich which was dry and crisps stale. We were very disappointed with the food choices. Has this place changed owners or something? Used to go there lots and the food was brilliant. It was always busy. Shame the aquatic centre has closed. Won't be going back.
