Food was excellent (some of the some of the best Italian food I've ever had!), great service, atmosphere was perfect and restaurant very clean. Would definitely return here.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of the Cathedral/shopping area. The food was really very good, between the four of us we had a good walk round the menu. The pizza was really good but beware it’s pretty big for one, they should put the size on the menu, I ended up sharing, if fact all the portions are generous. Our only gripe was the wine list was on the pricey side but their house gin was tasty.

Attractive decor, good food - starters were excellent & very large. Had we known this we’d probably have got one starter to share, or different mains. Two starters is a lot of food! Very pleasant staff and good service

We had an absolutely delicious lunch at Sabatini. The staff were attentive, friendly and made our visit a real pleasure. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy, and we weren't rushed along like in some places. The portion sizes were hearty for a lunch menu as well. We had pizzas and desserts (the gnocchi doughnuts and blood orange sorbet is particularly good), a couple of drinks, and it all came to less than 40 quid.We WILL be coming back!

There was a misunderstanding about our reservation but the manager was wonderful. We had a fabulous meal and the staff were all great. I would definitely go again and recommend to anyone travelling to Exeter.

Food was decent, nice interior and atmosphere, however I think the menu is very limited, not a lot of choices

Ambiance: 5/5 music soft and low, right lightingHygiene: 4/5 everything was spotlessService: 5/5 brilliant service. We were served even after 4pm.Starters: 5/5 calamari was in big pieces, better than pressos (hint), rice balls were amazing and garlic bread with caramelized onions was great.Mains: 4/5 delicious and huge portion sizesDessert: 5/5 tiramisu was brilliant, not like supermarket ones which taste of alcohol, this was more creamy and chocolatey. Cheesecake with pistachio was very creamy and tasty.Overally, great experience, I recommend. Please note that parking in the area is not great, navigate to Cathedral Yard for parking as it's closer than what Google recommends.

Delicious italian food and quick service. Would recommend to anyone. We had arancini for a starter shared between two people and main dish carbonara and chicken and we were both pretty full.Loved the decor also.

Attentive and polite service. The food was excellent and the cocktails we had were of a very high standard. Will definitely return

Sabatini is like a little taste of Italy in Exeter. A warming, cozy place but also feels upscale and recent. Staff were really nice and polite, had a starter, main and dessert (as you can see below), all came out in good time and hot. Plus a choice of extra parmesan which is always great.Would definitely recommend to any Italian cuisine lovers.
