Burger King in Exeter

Don't normally visit Burger King but as we had an offer for a bacon double cheeseburger for £1.99 we decided to visit. After eventually being served we duly received our humble offerings, what a disgrace anyone who pays full price must be bonkers, lukewarm burgers, stone cold bits of lard (supposedly crispy bacon!) on top. Some guy had already returned his disgusting effort for a replacement. Should be an offence to sell food of this quality, or lack of it!

Me and my wife popped in as we NORMALLY enjoy BK but in this occasion we were very underwhelmed with it. No hot drinks available and it was cool today. My Bacon Double was lukewarm, like it had been made 10 minutes before. Wife had chicken nuggets, said she wasn't impressed with them. Both of us wished we had used McD instead. Won't be back anytime soon.👎

It does not matter when you visit this establishment you are guaranteed to find the restaurant filthy. Not just a dirty table or two, the floor will be littered, bins normally overflowing and it is normally quicker to go to Mcdonalds, get served, eat and get home before your whopper is delivered.

Burger and chips were great, we popped in because it was raining and cold and we wanted a sloppy burger..Cleanliness however was disgusting. I asked the lady on the counter if someone could clean the tables... nothing!In this day and age of Cleanliness you really need to get your act together Burger King! 😬

I was very dissapointed with the state of the shop, cobwebs on the counter, the state of the walls going to the stock room, the surfaces on the counter were not clean at all, the staff were going extremely slowly and when we got to the front of the queue a sign was then put up on the till point advising they had ran out of burgers. We left the shop without making a purchase, burger king need to up their standards, in these covid times cleanliness is very important, I felt very let down today, We used to order quite regularly through deliveroo however after seeing the state of the shop today we will think twice before ordering from there again.

The food was absolutely fine and actually quite nice. The service however was terrible the staff had no idea what was happening around them there appeared to be be no management of anything. It was probably the longest wait I've ever had for fast food ( nearly 15 minutes ), everyone stood around waiting for food were also getting fed up like myself. God help them if It were to get busy. The delivery orders were the only food being produced. I will most certainly not be returning.

Came here today for a long wait as usual. When we finally made our way to the front they told us they had no kids toys so kids not happy. Went upstairs to eat and it was freezing. So much so, we ate with jackets on and took fries back for refunds because they went stone cold. We had to drop everything for napkins which were not provided.Overall. Nothing has changed here at all. We stopped coming here and ended up committed because of the children's promise of a burger King toy with a meal (which we didn't receive) my guessing here would be, the team require better management and burger King should be offering discounted food for missing products as advertised. As for the wait... The food should also be discounted for inconvenience. I won't be coming here again. The food is massively expensive for the supposedly convenience of fast food advertised everywhere. I used to only choose burger King. I simply do not see how their prices are so much higher than macdonalds when what they offer beats you in to anger, frustration, disappointment.Morally and commercially broken.Thanks for nothing at all.

I've been spoiled by going to Mcdonald near me, because it was chaos took age to order , then couldn't pay with cash !!!!! Then food told 10/15 mins to come, not very warm ,service counter had coffee and old chips on it and no staff looked to clean it tables dirty , no wiping down between customers here for covid reasons!! People were taking food back ! All and all never again , think could do with a good shake up sorry !

HORRIBLE!Ordered once - order never arrived even though the Just Eat app claimed it did. Applied for a refund.Reordered it on Deliveroo and the order came ALL messed up. BOTH drinks were wrong, I asked for Cola Original and Fanta, got 2 Coke Zeros (that I hate), I asked for no bacon, got the bacon, I asked for 2 large fries, got 1 fries, and onion rings that I hate. As for the food itself. It was just as bad. The fries were super dry, the burger was drier than the Sahara desert. The burger with not even a drop of sauce is a joke. Absolutely ridiculous. I, of course, applied for a refund. But that is not enough for 2 messed-up orders, wasted time, and such horrible food.

Wanted to try the plant based burger from burger King. This branch was fairly empty. Used the app which had lots of offers. This burger tasted really good, couldn't tell it wasn't meat. Made up of soy and less calories than beef. Win win. Reading the info more closely, it was grilled on the same grill that the meat patties were grilled on. This is where all the flavour is coming from. So not 100% vegan but definitely delicious. Would try this again.This branch still has restrictions. Can only eat in downstairs.
