Chevalier Inn in Exeter

Very much a wetherspoons, ticks the boxes. Excellent service and the usual great prices. However it's got 3 other spoons to compete with in Exeter!

Visited for a drink and a bite to eat before rugby match in Sandy Park. Good prices. Food was decent. Came back later in the evening for a few more beers and a boogie upstairs. Would visit again.

I enjoyed the exercise to find a seat. The staff were friendly so I gave them a tip. Just the tip.The Moroccan falafel is to die for. Shame my wife didn't choke.

It's a Wethersoons, you know what the drinks/food/prices are like - very reasonable. Lunch today was very good, they were busy but food was still quite quick & very good.

Slow service even though it wasn't busy, dirty table which was not cleaned even after being asked. Ordered on the app and had to collect own drinks. Waited over 30 minutes for cold, dried food. Asked for condiments and was pointed to a station - when asked for vinegar we were told there wasn't any but 5 minutes later the same staff member was giving a bottle to another table. Best part of the visit - 2 of the group ended up with sickness and diarrhea. Expectations of wetherspoons are never good but this is probably the worst one I've been too.

It is a nice British pub, nice option if you’re catching up with friends or just eating a quick meal. I had a nice spaghetti there for a fair price which was around £6 including a drink.It’s a part of the whetherspoon group so you can always order smoothly and check all of the prices through the app online.

Typical Spoons, you get what you pay for. Reasonable food at a reasonable price. Staff very good both breakfast and lunch. Quite busy at lunchtime but still only waited 15 minutes for my lunch to arrive. Men's toilet s could do with a bit of TLC.

Very nice pub in the centre of town, good range of food and beverages for a average/good price. Staff are friendly and ques are quick to be resolved.. food service was fast and drinks was superb. A very good wetherspoons branch.

1star: 1h30 mn waitEdit: 3 star.Has the reputation to serve microwaved food. Although there's truth to it, the food is decent if compared to the price. Put a one star review for the 2h wait. Came back when the place was less crowded and got served quite fast. The floral terasse on top is rather cute and usually less full than the rest. Price for pints remains the most competitive in town for students. Elevator is really smelly, this needs to be sorted. Otherwise, polite and helpful staff.

Service very good and friendly staff. A busy Sunday in the High Street they were running a limited menu no problem just needed a sandwich to keep us going til dinner. Clean nice loft area outside and it gets very busy in the evening.
