Great place super staff and food excellent. All came very hot and very tasty. Very busy so need to book .and remember it's by the cathedral grounds near the new Ivy restaurant.

·

Warm and friendly welcome, beautiful atmosphere and great food and drink. If you can, get a window table on the first floor. The views of the Cathedral are stunning.

Best pork belly I have ever had! Also, the duck liver parfait with apple chutney and baguette was so good Good service from the staff.Nice decor.Great value.

This was a Saturday lunchtime at the Exeter branch of Côte, next to The Cathedral. Great service despite our not having booked and being pretty busy on a sunny March day. As always, a decent menu and our choices arrived in a timely manner. Staff very friendly. A very good experience in a tourist hotspot.

Delicious food and great atmosphereWe ordered olives for the starter. We first ordered chicken and it wasn’t available. However, it was nice to try new things on the menu. Thus, I had a traditional french dish, tartiflette with a baguette which was delicious. The others had steak and vegetarian meals. The service was good. Although, we had to wait for quite a long time, it was worth the wait to have quality food.

Date night, picked Coté now we have been here before and it's always been consistently good, they have revamped the menu and it's good, I had the garlic Calamari..fresh, crispy and lots of it, Clairo (my wife) had the beetroot salad which she really enjoyed. Mains... I went with Monkfish with roasted peppers and creamed spinach.. delish...Clairo had Mussels..can't really mess up .. those. The food was good here comes the but.....the tables are to small and to close together to the point that the servers struggle to get through... And I did feel a little bit rushed. In saying that it's well worth a try and we will go back again.....p.s. they do do a great breakfast 😁😁

Very, very good restaurant. Staff very friendly and professional. The ambience is lovely. We asked for a table with a view of the cathedral, when we booked and we were taken to this table when we arrived. The menu is very good with lots of choice. Most importantly the food and wine was excellent! Highly recommend 🙂

Stepped in for lunch out of the rain to a very warm welcome. We dined upstairs where the ambience is slightly different - perhaps, slightly more cosy? Upstairs seems lighter n busier, esp if you're by the cathedral facing windows. The waiting staff were excellent. The food was good too - we had starters, mains and 2x desserts. The bill came to £123 for 3 of us, incl 10% service charge.

We decided to come here after a special event that happened during the day and it was a perfect way to spend an evening, the food was amazing! Service was fast and friendly, I am vegetarian and there was so much choice for me! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.

Food was good but not outstanding although it was presented excellently. The view from the upstairs window was lovely over looking the cathedral. Service was very friendly and food was also served as quickly which was probably helped with the relatively small menu which was a plus from us.
