Cowick Barton in Exeter

Our Daughter's wedding lunch for around 80 guests. Main courses were amazing, tasty, served hot and plentiful. Gorgeous desserts. All the staff were brilliant, thank you for making the day so special for the Bride and Groom.

We've been to the Cowick Barton many times & have always had good service and good food. Have had 2 birthday meals there with large groups of people , the dishes have always come out together with the correct orders. I think it's good value for money too.

This was a lovely day, made to feel very welcome,sat outside with drinks ,ordered, went in to lovely light dinning room.We had roast beef roast chicken breast,beautiful arranged huge Yorkshire, lovly dish off hot veg,good selection of puddings we had the Apple Calvados tart again nicely presented. Good coffee.Will defently return.Was a good price to.😀

Lovely Sunday roast. Good selection of meats and veg was cooked perfectly. Needs more gravy though. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Lovely old building too! Look forward to eating there again.

Good food and friendly helpful staff. Laid on a great buffet for a recent family gathering. Very good value.

It's a lovely old building now being used as a pub. The staff were friendly ( although their system had no record of my son's booking), he lives locally.The roast lunch was fine, just not earth shattering with average veg but tasty meat. My son is vegetarian and enjoyed his meal without enthusing. Would go again as it's pretty good, not far off the A30 and much nicer than Exeter services when we're next leaving Cornwall

We had a Sunday lunch for 10 at the end of November and it was excellent. We pre ordered, everything was served on time it was all delicious and hot. The service was friendly and fantastic and we would not hesitate to recommend The Cowick Barton.

We’re so lucky to have such a lovely pub in St Thomas! Staff are always so nice and it’s dog friendly 🐕The outside beer garden is great, but the inside is sooooo cozy when it gets a bit colder out too!

What a lovely experience. We turned up on spec and we were warmly welcomed. The food was magnificent and tasted amazing and virtually melted in the mouth. The setting is stunning too. The only critique is that the portions are a little small, although beautifully presented so make sure you have a starter in this pub. Very dog friendly too. Thanks to all the staff for the good service.
