Quick search on Google Maps and found this place with very good reviews so decided to visit and they were definitely not wrong. Everything about this place is fantastic from the nice decor to the very friendly staff and most importantly the awesome food. Both my work mate and I thoroughly enjoyed it and if we are ever working around here again we will most definitely return.

Our first visit, an upmarket Indian restaurant with nicely presented and tasty food. If I could change anything it would be the music. After decades of Indian food in the UK, surely we don't need to listen to the music to put us in the mood. It somehow cheapened what is otherwise a classy restaurant.

Many years since I've been here and it has changed hands so wasn't sure what to expect. We had an amazing meal, couldn't fault it in any way, really fresh, authentic, flavoursome food and great service. Highly recommended it.

Delicious food and friendly staff. One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited in a while.

I haven't been to a better Indian restaurant ever. Not overly expensive. Shame it's 200 miles away from where I live. If ever you're in Exeter, make a point of eating there.

Excellent, great food, staff great as well, very helpful. Did not rush us out the door after being there 3 hours. Definitely will go again. Reccomend.

Nice to visit again and remember why I love it.. always a great atmosphere, happy staff and great food and service. Lamb was amazing and lovely hot towels to finish.. always worth a visit.

Lovely venue and very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was mixed, though. The bhindi bhaji was rather tasteless and the tarka dal was just a dal without the tarka topping. It was nice enough but less than I expected. The biggest disappointment was the sticky toffee pudding, which simply wasn't anything of the sort. It was a chocolate sponge cake with chocolate sauce. No toffee sauce. No caramel. Nothing like we expected from the menu. We didn't eat it and we weren't charged for it, which was nice. Everything else was excellent.

By far the worst experience I had. We asked the food to be packed and had specifically told the waiter to keep the non-veg separate from veg food. I warm up the food and begin eating, only to realise that I ate non-veg food!! Seriously? I was told by the manager he will give me my money back. It then took 3 weeks waiting before I realised no refund was processed. I then speak to the owner by the name Mr J and ask to give my money back. The owner got bit cheeky telling me that he his doing me a favour and he normally wouldn't give 'free money'. I'm sorry but when you are a vegetarian and get served non-veg and the restaurant accept that they messed up your order, apparently they are doing you a 'favour' if you ask for your money back. It is a slap on any restaurant to not take customers diatry requirement into account. They should be happy I didn't post this on DevonLive. Such horrible customer service had left a bitter experience in the end. Will not recommend !!!!
