Five Guys in Exeter

Five Guys do really good burgers for a fast food place, large variety of toppings and generous portions of seasoned fries (you really only need a small).It's expensive for what it is but worth it as a treat instead of getting something disappointing like a big mac.

We came here for a celebratory meal after reading all the great reviews and I'm glad we did! We had a nice corner table facing out to the rest of the restaurant. We had the cheese souffle and pork belly for starters (the pork belly was a very good portion and both starters were very tasty!). Mains were a ribeye steak (which I'm told was very good), then I had a flat iron steak and half a lobster. Desserts were a chocolate brownie sundae and a skillet cookie. All in all, a lovely meal and service and I would go again.

The most amazing burgers. Only didn't give it 5 stars due to the price. Cost £38 for the 2 of us for burgers, chips and a drink! But quality is second to none

I'm a bit bemused by this place. I mean the food is clearly a step above the average burger place but to be three or four times as expensive?? I find it doesn't quite justify that but I was amazed how popular it was. Maybe I'm just a bah humbug! The staff are very helpful but the way it's organised is a bit slow and I wasn't told I need to pick up the milkshakes before my food. So I thought they were in a bag and I left the place and then had to come back to pick them up having gone off. I think maybe I need to try again now that I understand how it all works and then I can update my review. But £5.50 from milkshake is amazing to me.

I love going to Five guys, the burgers are top range and the chips are delicious! Also very good service every time I went.

Hidden away down Queen Street, this American style Diner has top quality burgers, friesvand milkshakes... Red and white tiling and visible preparation makes the theatre good...Frequented by students with downstairs dining in, one of my favourites in the City, recommended the salted caramel milkshake! 😊 Expensive but very nice!

Visited on our sons 15th birthday. Great service and yummy burgers. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. A great experience on a cold, wet, windy February afternoon.

Waited so long for the milkshakes that the burgers went cold, no straws for milkshakes which we should have been informed before purchasing. Sat downstairs and it was so hot it was unbearable and the tables and floors were filthy. Very disappointed for the amount we paid I will never visit five guys again. Made a complaint to head office and they were absolutely no help, just full of excuses. For the record I have never left a bad review before.
