Appalling. Didn't even stay for our main meal. Paneer starter.. burn to a charcoal but he still served it to me!? Tried it, stupidly and spent the remainder of the night with said taste in my mouth. Complained.. basically they weren't bothered. Unreal bad service let alone the simply badly cooked food. Just don't.I walked out after paying for beers. Shame, use to be a great place. Though a few years back now. Save your money and taste buds people. Go elsewhere.

The food is amazing, but you have to look at the menu online which is not acceptable when you eat in. The personal touch is lost and the staff Im sure feel utterly demoralised. Whilst I appreciate restrictions during covid this is no longer the case and it feels really sad that the experience is lost. Will not be returning due to lack of hospitality

I have eaten here several times over the years as well as having takeaways. The food is always of a high standard, good portions that are full of flavour. I would particularly recommend dining in, as the restaurant environment is very pleasant. The service is excellent. While this isn’t the cheapest curry in Exeter, in my opinion it is probably the best. The fish dishes are particularly good. We’ll be back.

We visited the restaurant and we were three of us. While placing order, we were informed to order atleast 3 main course and six side dishes!! How on the earth we three of us could finish a total of 9 dishes. We tried to explain this to the person taking the order but he was stubborn to his so called policy of ordering 9 dishes. We then happily left the restaurant...All in all, a very bad experience and imagine the restaurant serves Indian Food and doesn't understand how to be practical!!

Disappointed that customers were ignoring covid requirement for masks. We arrived at opening time and found it quite cold to sit in. 30 mins to warm up.Food, as always, was a pleasure.

Excellent environment, customer service and had quality food after long time. Specially Tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly and taste was lovely. I strongly recommend to visit ganges.. Will come again. *****

Booked with a large group (18 people) and had the set menu. Not only was the service impeccable and quick the amount of food was so much we couldn't finish! We will be certainly heading back - after visiting a few this is certainly my favourite Indian restaurant in Exeter.

Chicken Tikka was very dry that I wasn’t able to eat more than a piece, Chicken Tikka masala too sweet! We have to scrape off the sauce to be able to eat it!Food took about 45 minutes to come while other tables who came after were served much sooner,They said they can’t do Lassi that night?! Which was one of the reasons we chose IndianTo top our not so good evening, the acoustics in the restaurant make you want to bang your head against the wall as you can pretty much not hear the person in front of you since it’s so very noisy ! Not a restaurant fault but I wouldn’t come back here on another weekend night for this reason alone,Staff were ok, and tried to compensate the delay in our meals by complimentary popadoms,

Fantastic restaurant, highly recommend.A good selection of vegetarian dishes. I had Ragara Pattice to start and Palak Cootu Curry with a side of Brinjal Bhajee for my main.Food was very tasty and portions were a good size, I will probably skip the starter next time. I look forward to returning and trying other dishes from the menu.
