I hope Herbies stays open for years to come. Have heard attempts at selling the restaurant were unsuccessful therefor you are continuing to conduct business as normal. Visited for the first time and must say it is fantastic to receive a Vegan Three-course meal! I love the decor, waiters are very kind. High quality food; seems like chefs put thought into the plates before they are brought out. Very classy and quaint place; no stuck up attitudes. It is nice to be surrounded by people with alike diets (refraining from meat.) Quiet street location. I felt like I was in an old film. What tasty food and very generous portions!! Muchly recommend Herbies <3

Delicious food, warm cosy welcome and seriously good value place.Highly recommend if you want a quiet, interesting, comfortable evening.Had 2 dishes from the specials menu (vegetable gratin and stuffed peppers). And the carrot and cashew roast. All with 3 types of salads. So filling, could not manage the amazing sounding desserts.Returning tonight, to try out today's specials.Vicky, who works there was fab.Atmosphere great, music not too loud and good classic hits.

Brilliant vegan restaurant! We came here for a wedding meal and the staff really went above and beyond!Everything was really amazing and the food was incredible, delicious and served quickly too. The guys are clearly really passionate here and it shows!Thank you for everything and we enjoyed our leftovers just as much the next day!

I had a most enjoyable meal last night at Herbies. I am not a vegetarian but found much to my surprise a very good menu reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Great friendly service from this independent restaurant. Will definitely eat there again.

Great selection on the menu, lots to choose from. Portions were very generous and tasty.Bubbly and chatty waitress, though had to wait a little while to order our desserts as it was quite busy.Really nice place to eat, would go again.

I would recomend herbies to any one with out a doubt. It is a vegetarian restaurant. Good menu. Lovely atmosphere music was just background level so we could still talk even with the speaker above our table. But most importantly the food was amazing.I'm not a vegetarian but my daughter is, we had only heard good reviews from people who had been, so thought we would give it a go.We shared a chips and dips to start which we thoroughly enjoyed. Then we both had the Kari Sayur. Which was amazing !! I even ate what my daughter couldn't finish as it was that good. We both left feeling very full and happy. Great little place which does so many things better than most.

We had a table for 4. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent. All four of us were super impressed with our 3 courses. Great value too. The fact that the restaurant was really busy by 7.00pm on a Wednesday night, speaks volumes. We will be back again soon.

This vegetarian restaurant was on my list for while. But when I finally made it here not everything excited me.What I enjoyed: the food is fresh and made from the scratch. The wine and drinks list is smart featuring of local/organic/sustainable producers. What could be better: I had a TLT ciabatta and for £12 I expected more. The tofu slice was super thin, the bread was crusty but not warm. There were a couple of tomato slices , a bit of salad and a bit of mayo in the sandwich, that’s it. Plus small portion of potato wedges on the side. The place is located in an old English house with all the rustic atmosphere in.All in all a good place to visit

Simply outstanding!! Just ate here on a recommendation, food is out of this world good, the 2 waitresses that served us were so attentive and professional! The only downside if you can even call it that was me and my partner both ordered Buddha Bowls and 2 side's and we didn't even have room for dessert and we both had our sights set on the sticky toffee pudding but we over did it on the side's hahaha, oh well there's always next time 😉. Keep up the good work and a very special thanks to the 2 waitresses 😊

I recently took my wife to this restaurant for her birthday as it rates highly on Google. The restaurant looks good and the staff were very cheery and helpful. Unfortunately, they were let down by their extremely bland food. As you can see in the pics, the food looks good, it just doesn't live up to expectations. The food really didn't taste of anything (I don't have covid), I added salt to my meal and even the salt couldn't rescue it. Vegetarian food can be very flavorful if prepared well. I usually finish off my wife's meals as she's not a big eater, but I couldn't stomach it this time. In fact, I didn't finish my own.I had hoped to find a restaurant we could frequent that has tasty food and caters to vegetarians, unfortunately we'll have to keep looking.
