KFC Sidwell Street in Exeter

It was quite in there whilst having lunch. The guy there were pleasant and cheerful.

I always enjoy the burger each time I visit here. However, they should provide ketchup for consumers. Also, no hand sanitizers to sanitize your hand and you have to eat your burger with your hand.

I rarely leave negative reviews but I feel that on this occasion I should. I understand that Saturday nights are busy but this took at least 20 minutes for our order. None of the touch screens were working. And if I'm honest, the chicken seemed pretty dry in comparison to my memory of KFC. The staff seemed completely rushed off their feet with only one person taking orders from a long queue and then having to go off and make orders up and serve. This also meant that tables weren't cleared and cleaned and there were no napkins available either as all the trays were empty. You would think that they would be prepared for Saturday night but it didn't seem that way at all.

Shoddy service, placed an order over an hour ago (on Just Eat) and the driver has been at the restaurant for almost the entire time (according to the App). Called the restaurant (multiple times) and no answer.

Same old chicken, but never has any napkins or hand-wipes. Really annoying in COVID times having to eat and not clean hands

The kfc at this branch is cooked to order, the chicken is NOT GREASY. The kitchen is clean, staff are lovely, food to always HOT, not warm. SIDWELL STREET is the best kfc in devon.

I ordered via just eat and the chicken was absolutely disgusting, it looked covered with someone's spit and the skin peeled off easily and now I feel sick! I tried calling the restaurant and there was no answer. Don't eat from this place unless you want your food spat in!

Absolutely amazing staff. So friendly and it fosters an amazing environment. Especially for a fast food chain. The food is ever reliable.

Has an eat in but I have never used this being in a wheelchair. Wife collects takeaway which we have never been unhappy with quality. She says that the eating area looks grubby and could do with refreshing and would not use it herself.

The food is good and staff are friendly but it always seems to be a victim of it's own success.Tables are always dirty some with dried on stains. When someone does go to clean them it's a half hearted effort to quickly wipe 2 tables then disappear behind the counter leaving all the others dirty.I'm in there every 6 weeks as I pass through Exeter and the lack of cleaning seems to have gotten worse over the years.Clearly giving Deliveroo & Just Eat drivers their deliveries is more important than wiping down the busy tables once an hour.It's the nearest KFC to the coach station but there are other places to eat nearby.I always have to ask for a table to be cleaned and they prefer to give food in bags rather than tray, even when you say 'eat in'.
