I don't normally bother with negative reviews because everyone has bad days right My husband and I made a trip to Ivybridge yesterday to deliver a mobile phone and shopping supplies to my sister in law who is crippled by agoraphobia and suffering with the Nora virus on her own with 2 small children and 2 puppies and unable to talk to her husband whose in hospital suffering with a side affect from cancer surgery because her mobile is broken. I understand anyone from McDonald's has probably skipped most of what I have written but I am hoping that by writing it I can get closure from how sad and disappointed I am. I spent my whole social/entertainment budget for the month to buy the phone and supplies and travel from mid Devon to Ivybridge just to drop the stuff off on the doorstep as she also has the noro virus. I then proceeded to Plymouth hospital to drop stuff to my brother in a corridor with a 3 metre distance. I stood and watched as he cried because he desperately wanted a hug. I left the hospital in tears so my husband suggested a McDonald's on the way home as a treat. The first order of 2 mega Mac's arrived. The chips were cold and the burgers were little more than thrown together. One had all the contents on the bottom bun with plain layers on top and the other only had 1.5 patties in the buns with the other half Pattie just chucked on the top. We went into the restaurant to complain. The manager came and apologised and proceeded to go off to replace our order. Once back at the car we discovered we still had soggy slightly warmer chips and the burgers although appearing to have all the contents had merely been thrown together. We were to exhausted to go back again so ate about half and disposed of the rest. I wish I had spent my money on a bag of hot salty chips. I forgot to mention McDonald's had no milkshake and no salt!!! So disappointed I wasted my money 🙄☹️

Absolutely the worst experience of a McDonald’s I have ever had…we visited the DriveThru this morning after a very early flight into Exeter airport. Very limited menu, no milkshakes available so I had one disappointed little girl…the lady taking our order couldn’t have been any less enthusiastic if she tried. Once ordered, we were told to wait in the Bay for our food which took a good 10 minutes (which I feel is a long time considering they only had the breakfast menu on)…when it did arrive, the order was wrong. My husband was given a custom order of a Double Sausage McMuffin with no egg…he ordered a normalSausage and egg McMuffin. To make matters worse, it looked like it had been served to someone else and shoved back in the wrapper. He took it back to the DriveThru window to complain and get what he ordered, to which he was met with no apology and given a bag with the correct order in it…or so we thought! When he got to the car we discovered that they’d got the order wrong again. This time giving him bacon instead of sausage…we couldn’t be bothered taking it back again but one thing’s for sure, we definitely won’t be returning!

Went into this restaurant today saturday 16th april. Ordered main meal that was fine and very nice. But when came to wanting a mc flurry there was none available. This had happend many times when visiting around lunch time. In warm weather and school holidays i would like to have a nice bit of ice cream after my main meal. They always seem to clean these machines right around midday lunch time when it there busy time of the day. Why advertise your mc flurrys on the posters in the windows if they never availble to order. Plus when ask staff members some say the machines are working other workers say they not working its like they do not tell all their staff members about this if get asked by a customer. Overall nice food shame about the mc flurry machine never working

Overall this McDonald's seem to be quite above the usual average. All the condiments are actually inside of the burgers and when you ask extra, is not only 4 leaves of lettuce (mostly placed outside the buns). Can be improved on the assembly still as everything was slightly too on the edge of the bread, but still remarkable compared to other McDonald's. I guess also it was cause it wasn't too busy at the time so tetrising a burger was maybe easier than busier times. Still. Good job in placing the food where is supposed to be.

Was really.good service and very quick, rarely make mistakes with orders, especially deliveries, and I've found better to order from here when in the centre of plymouth than the ones in town due to increased reliability, as they are much better at ensuring you get what you actually ordered. Very good customer service also for when they do make mistakes or miss things, the staff are really nice. Good maccies, that :))

By far the worst service I've experienced in ANY fast food outlet. The McDonald's app seemed to believe that this place doesn't exist and I wish it didn't.I arrived just after 8am and as I needed to pay cash went to the counter where I waited around 5 minutes to be served. I ordered a breakfast roll meal but as I was informed that they had no Hash Browns I settled for a roll and a latte.I then waited for over 15 minutes along with several other people - one of whom was in danger of being late for work as a result - and witnessed a customer return 2 wrongly prepared items to the counter whilst the indicator above the counter showed that my food was being prepared along with several other orders that had already been collected.Eventually, 15 minutes later, the food arrived. No apology, no explanation, just a dirty look. The whole situation was ridiculous, and as far as this branch is concerned, it's an absurdity to describe it as a "fast food outlet".

40 min wait at the drive through, so the hot drinks weren't hot and the mcflurry were melted by the time we got our food and then 3 out of 4 things on the order were wrong. Absolute mess.

Service is aweful, nobody in the drive through only one customer in front of me and still waited nearly 20 minutes for my breakfast to arrive, food left standing that had now gone cooler ( not cold ) and still expected to take it by a member of staff. I spoke to the manager who just shook her head like she could not be bothered. My food was replaced and after e mailing the complaint to the store I was given a code for a free meal. ( I did NOT and will not be using this code as the level of service is disgusting. Another customer who came in behind me was still waiting for his coffee after I left.

I like the place and vibes inside the macDonalds. There are sheets to engage with children until the order arrived. Yes, this is a famous one and located in center so, you expect a delay in peak times. Also, they have play area, which is closed now due to COVID 19. One can also go into drive through for a quick order.Present, there are no Halloween decorations. We expected to be there. But, there are crowns with spooky eyes. Kids will like it.A nice engagement to kids, while waiting for food. Cleaner is around to help you with cleaning and clearing the table. And the surrounding are good with shopping centers like B&M, Furniture shops. One can spend a whole day here eating and shopping . Have a wonderful day at MacDonalds.
