Lovely food can't fault it. One big negative they will not accommodate people who can't it certain foods. They say they can't take something off of the order you have to have what's on there. So if you can't eat bread they said you still have to have the bread that's with your order. It doesn't make sense! You need to accommodate for people who don't like a certain thing or whom are allergic to something. Come on this is 2022.

The BEST breakfast in Exeter! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The food is super fresh, lovingly prepared and perfectly cooked. They also do amazing milkshakes and pancakes if you have the room after your cooked breakfast.

When we entered No 1 Polsloe, we were little bit unsure what the general routine was ordering under the circumstances of Covid. There were hand sanitiser instructions on walls. When we entered we were not greeted by staff, in fact I thought a customer was a member of staff and asked whether we were ok to sit down. Overall restaurant was clean and tidy and we quite liked the decor. The food came at a reasonable time however I felt that the food was overpriced and not that special. I doubt we will go back here again, it's not bad food but I think I'll just cook at home next time.

Really nice cafe! The milkshakes are so good I got two. Quite small but that makes it cosy. Friendly staff highly recommend :)

Excellent cafe, caters for all diets and there is some fabulous artwork to look at/buy whilst you eat. Lots of delicious options on the menu to choose from, whether you want some wholesome avo on toast or something a little more sweet. If you are in the area and want to go to a fantastic brunch spot, this is a must see!

Vegan breakfast is very nice!!! Add an extra salmon and this combination is incredibly delicious❤️ The latte...I would say it’s the best latte I’ve tried in Exeter so for...The decorations in the cafe is lovely as well! Greens everywhere 😍 highly recommend!!

My girlfriend had been wanting to take me to this cafe for ages. We had tried previously but it was too busy to get in, but it is well worth the wait!We were about to leave as it didn't look like we were going to get a seat, until on table excitedly knocked on the window to say we could take their table, with a look on their faces which said: "you have to try this place!".We got in and ordered a coffee and tea (the coffee was especially lush!) and took in the ambience of the place including the brick wall, the range of foliage dotted about and the choice of art hanging around the place.Being a designer myself I felt truly inspired being in there and would absolutely love to take myself in there to work. And that's before the food came out!I have lived in Exeter my whole life, and never before have I had a Full English Breakfast like this before! It was by far the best I have had (not including my Nan's... sorry, I'm biased) and would absolutely recommend, especially as it doesn't break the bank.Overall it was a really nice experience and is certainly one of the (very) hidden treasures of Exeter, which makes it all the more special. Thanks again No. 1 Polsloe, I'll be in again soon!S

A lovely little café which serves great food and drink. The only drawback is there aren't many seats.
