Old Firehouse in Exeter

Extraordinary and one of my very favorite pubs ever. The pizza is great, so is the drink variety. Plus you feel a bit like you've been taken back to another century. Always worth a visit! One of the most charming places in Exeter

I always have a good time when I come here. The pizzas are decent. Service is always good. I recently saw the Red Cups band on NYE there and we had a blast. I also love the feel of the pub in general. It is a very friendly, warm, casual, and even cozy ambience about it. I recommend it

Huge pizzas! Been here multiple times and still haven't managed to finish one on my own - the staff are happy to wrap any leftovers to take home though!

Excellent size and quality pizza. You can easily share one pizza between two people. The restaurant is based on three levels. You find a table then order using the app. The service is prompt and atmosphere is great.

Homely feel, really friendly staff, and interesting cask beers to choose from! The nachos were fantastic - perfect place for a pit stop or a few pints!

Love this place, does a great Sunday Roast and always has a vegan option too. Such a great building with a lovely atmosphere too.

Utterly superb. If this enormous pizza in a basket doesn't satisfy your hunger, then I don't know what will! Pizza rivaled only by service. Welcoming, accomodating staff. Delicious food. Exquisite value. 5 stars, and well deserved.

Oh dear where do I start. The website promises you a wide choice of food and what you get to choose from is pizza and a limited range of average beers. You walk into venue and you can sit anywhere you wish as long as it has a table number. You order by downloading an app, selecting food, drink, table number and card number. No ordering at bar or waiter/waitress service. Beer and pizza then arrives. You don't get plates but you do get knives and forks. No questions about how was your meal - you simply are ignored. Ordering on an app might have been OK during height of Covid but it's pretty poor as an excuse for customer service. We ate and left.

Such a cool pub. Feels hip and youthful, cozy decor and a very good selection of drinks - some really nice Devon ciders for you visiting from other parts of the country. They also do really nice square pizza for ease of sharing. It was so chill we came back there 2 nights in a row. Bonus points for security staff keeping drunken louts out !
